Maybe I'm confused, but you kept putting "private sale/consignment" in your requests for authentication. If these were on a site somewhere, why didn't you provide the link?

I have said this before an will say it again - I am not comfortable with requests where less than all available information is given, especially when it later turns out the poster coyly withheld details like the actual provenance of the bag. And especially when there are multiple requests asking, "Why is my bag being ignored?"

There has also been a rash of people buying and then getting increasingly upset if authenticators do not render an immediate opinion. The time to ask questions like that is BEFORE you bid on and win an auction.

The rules are so simple. It would be incredibly helpful if people actually followed them before posting the same bag repeatedly with incomplete information and then becoming annoyed with the people here who post opinions for not answering fast enough.

^^Well said. Unfortunately, it has been necessary to say this many times. I am not directing this comment at anyone in particular. I understand that some posters may (1) not want to divulge information that *in theory* could lead to others swooping in on their find, or (2) not want to make a seller irate by openly asking about their bag, but the simple truth is, you are asking for free advice. To expect that and not give all the information is just not respectful to those who are putting in the time and effort to help.

Mistikat and Pepper, thanks for lifting those exact thoughts out of my head and expressing them so well. I am concerned about the recent tidal wave of such requests. It takes two to tango and if the poster can not follow the rules, and be honest, then I am going to decline to dance.

Those folks who think that having dual tPF screen names is the way to coyly handle things, guess again. That will only get you into trouble with the Mods.

Celia Hish, its not problem if the links are to japanese resellers, or to post the information. We have some experience in that area as well. :heart: I hope you can get the pictures sorted out and find a kelly..
