Thanks for your response!! The scarf isn't for sale so there isn't any link, and when I click on 'insert image' it just tells me to insert a link...but I think I read enough on your threads to question its authenticity. Bummer... :-(

If you have images saved on your computer you will have to use the attachments (paperclip icon) function. But again, it should be posted in the appropriate thread in the appropriate format for authentication. :smile1:

This fuschia CDC 30 is definitely authentic because I ordered it at FSH in person last Sept. Placing chevre in last Sept was not easy; you can search my previous thread to see how I get it done. This bag was placed for my friend so I did not mention in my post.

Besides you did not have the copyrights of pics that you have posted. I sent them to your private email and you never mentioned you will post them in public. It is not very nice that you post them without my consent. All these pics should be watermarked before releasing to public.

it does not appear that your photographs were properly copyrighted and, presumably, registered. they therefore do not have copyright protection in the US, and in any case publication here would be permitted under the fair use doctrine.

if you are selling expensive and often counterfeited designer goods in the secondary market you should expect and even encourage your prospective buyers to use resources such as this forum to determine authenticity. there was nothing "not nice" about posting the photos here for our review.

I struggled with how to respond to the seller's post, and DQ said everything I wanted to say--but about a hundred times better.

The healthiest thing a serious potential buyer can do is to exercise due diligence and bring images here for inspection. I would expect no less if selling a bag of my own.

May I ask why you have reposted the images of your own bag here? Is it for authentication? Thank you.

Comments: Hi Hermes ladies! Is this authentic? Thanks a lot for your help!

I do not like this bag.

I really do not like the seller's history, and I do not like the auction terms.

Checking the history, the seller sold two identical 40 cm blue jean birkins a week apart in January. Never comforting. The bags did not look good, and if you research the seller's name here you will see negative comments from several authenticators.

The terms of the auction are also terrible. The seller states they will not accept Paypal over $2,500.00. eBay requires Paypal as an option...and I would interpret this as meaning you should be able to pay for the full amount with Paypal. I would never, ever send off a wire transfer in this case.

I am also absolutely unswayed by the minimal feedback. This is a situation where I would walk away....pick up the pace...and break into a run.

This is a known seller of authentic Hermes bags, however these are poor pictures and on that alone, I would suggest better and more close up shots of important parts of the bag. This seller knows from past experience what is needed. Pictures of Vic Beckham do not sell a bag or serve for authentication purposes.

I went back and looked at this person's threads where she discussed trying to order a bag in Paris. Nowhere did I see a mention of ordering for a friend or ordering a bag that looks like the one she has for sale currently.

When will these sellers get it? Apologies to Vic Beckham, Kate Holmes and the rest but when it comes to listings, all I want to see is the bag, Ma'am. Celeb shots actually work as a turn off to me. I don't want to look like them (no chance anyway!!), I don't want to be them, I just want to examine a bag.
