If you want to know for sure you have to ask at Hermes, go back and do it for your own peace of mind. A nice SA is no more of a clue to authentication than a receipt or dustbag. They are supposed to be nice.

We have absolutely no idea why any ebay user does anything so if you need to know, ask the seller or get your bag to Hermes and move on :flowers:

barbiedoll, the bag is a Cabas. I am not an authenticator here, but I have owned this bag, and the one in the photos shares the same details as mine. The seller did not include a photo of the blind stamp - it may be hard to find, but would likely be on one of the little leaf-shaped patches where the handles attach on the inside of the bag.

Just wondering if anyone knows has ever seen a fake / replica Cabas bag ???? The date stamp on my bag is from 2000 ...But just wondering if anyone has ever seen a Cabas leather tote.
