bfd, the green "goatskin" bag is fake. I am sure the other craigslist bags are as well. We have yet to see an authentic birkin from craigslist and these pictures, are certainly suboptimal from a detail perspective. I would not bother with the white or orange for another moment.

If you require more definitive information than that, please provide better pictures, as in the auction link I provided for addict24.

As to the black private seller bag, the pictures are impossible.

You may want to stick with reputable resellers, and adjust your expectations as to what you will have to spend to get an authentic birkin. Check our reputable resellers list and the Finds thread in the Shopping section for what kind of quality bags and pictures you should be looking at as you search.

ETA: Of all of the craigslist bags, this one may possibly be worth getting more pictures...but ugh, you would be the first to find a real one on craigslist.

I am sorry, but this is not an authentic Hermes bag.

I did a side by side comparison and I came to the same conclusion. I do not think that the bag posted by klerins is authentic. There are several standout features to lead me to this conclusion.

Addict24 You have to trust your reseller. I believe she is on the list and has sold quite a few for what that is worth. Do as you said, and take the bag to the boutique for your peace of mind.

bfd I don't think that any of the bags that you posted from CL are authentic. Reading the past pages of the thread might have saved you the trouble of posting all those pix.

The bag is a Cabas. I am not an authenticator by a long shot, but I did have one of these, or rather a slightly older one in courchevel, and this one has all the same characteristics - plus the newer snap-in pocket. Please wait for someone more knowledgeable to confirm, though.
