I'm 5'2", medium build and love to wear 28 sellier Black Box kelly with wide potiron togo leather strap or a 28 sellier porc kelly with a gray canvas/croc strap with jeans. (I'm in the minority on tpf) Here are some old pics.

and here is what a 28 can hold: full size wallet with two change pockets; key case; phone; red epi address book; cosmetic case (the size of a piccolo) sunglasses; novel the size of a trade paperback (larger and thinner than a regular paperback book) HTH

Thanks for sharing these TankerToad I was just in the process of saying no when you've forced me to reconsider! The gold retourne sounds lovely however you'd like to carry it - my personal preference for casual, however, would be a 32cm or larger in retourrne. JMHO

You are not playing fair 880! This is not helping my argument! I concede that the 28cm in porc does look lovely in a casual outfit on you and a sellier to boot! Hurummph! :p

I have a gold Togo Kelly 28 retourne with GH and it is one of my most frequently used bags. I definitely use it casually most of the time, but it also can go dressy. It's very versatile and useful and it also travels well.
I just came back from a monthlong vacation, and it's the only bag that I brought with me.

I love 28 kelly. yes it can be very casual. I use mine from day to night. let me find some old pics. I am 5''6 by the way. I have 4 28 kellys so far. I really love this size. one thing about the 28 kelly is when you carry with strap on the shoulder it look just so feminine, but with the 35 kelly just too big of a bag on the hip.

Rocker, you make me want a 28 black rigide Kelly lol. Looks fab!

Its true the 35 is too big with the strap but its still a nice option to have. I use the strap only when I need hands free and then back it goes on my arm. The 28 and 32 are good with the straps.

^^yes luccibag, when I am travel I love use the 35 kelly. and carry it on the shoulder, i need my hands for the carry on. but in a normal day, I just found that carry it in the arm look more balanced.
