i can confirm the region thing...i just called my SA and i'm in NJ and she said that that store is a member of the "northern region" and that they werent included :( this is so unfair! why do some places get it when others don't?!

Does anyone know if New York is included? Long Island, if anyone on Long Island has gotten one, can I meet you at a Coach store. I just bought a bag today. I love it, (it's the new Hamptons pebbled leather medium carryall in brown). but I would love it even more at 25% off. Plus, I would love to get a new wallet to match.

for everyone who is eligible it will be in december.

realize this isn't for everyone. it's for those who are coach lovers and shop in coach stores consistantly with some damages to their credit card or banking account. and that this is coach's way of thanking them.

the regional thing, there have been promotions done throughout this year across america. not every region has been hit, i believe, but eariler this year, a bit after the PCE for winter there was one in california, specifically bay area. so those who say that san jose has one, i'm kind of hesitant about that, because they already had their regional one eariler this year.

I think you misread my message...I just mentioned that if by chance you got a card (sent from a friend in another region who wasn't going to use it, for example) that it would be honored.

The red book is allowed! I know you figured this out by preordering a few items but I wanted to clarify for other members. I'm not sure what corporate means by special orders but we can order anything from the cbsr binder and any past items with available inventory. The only things not eligible are the legacy bags and anything with a 10/1 release date :)

With one of my cards earlier this year the Tysons Galleria store said special orders were stuff that particular store would not normally carry. When I bought my business tote they just happened to be out of it (aside the display) so they ordered that and shipped it to me (with my 25% off)...but they said if it had been an item they wouldn't normally have in their store then that would be considered a special order and it would not be eligible for the discount.

Hmm that's odd, in my store we allow all ordering besides the legacy and 10/1 intros. Anything in the past that still has inventory and the Coach by special request book is fair game! This is how we've always done it, we've never been told it's been wrong. I guess it may be up to the store managers.

i don't know about the whole limitations thing, earlier this year when the legacy's (orignal not the ones coming out) came out i helped this lady order hers with the 25% off coupon...that was in the red book.

and like sprinkles said, the red book contains a number of things, including the men's section for non-flagship stores to show customers, the signature, the classics, the pet section. all of which can be used with the 25% off coupon.

the red book can be used as the coach stores were told to take the legacy pictures out of it, you're technically not suppose to see it until the 18th in the book...whether all the stores followed that from the transmittal remains to be seen. my store did and you can see it tucked under a hidden section in the current assortment book, which is kept in the cashwrap of course.

We hid all of our legacy stuff (plus the new product pages that came in today) in the back room in a manila envelope because we have a few sales girls who don't think and would totally sell whatevers in the book.

Actually, they probably won't let you order that. I know it's a 10/1 release and it's not included in the event. I've seen it in person though- it's gorgeous!

Sprinkles, thank you. It's nice to know that someone has actually seen it! I talked with my SA yesterday and she said that she'd let me order it and use my coupon - I hope she doesn't change her mind!
