21s classic “mini” with top handle dilemma

yeah I see your point. I am after a top handle that I can wrap cute twillies with, but the handle on this top handle mini does not look like it will stay up...

I haven’t worn it because of lockdown but I love it! The perfect warm weather bag. Very wearable. The iridescence is so subtle, it’s like a snowball in the sun. My little summertime snowball, love how it glistens lol. The perfect summer bag especially if you dress more girly or dressy. I’ve heard that iridescence can run off and that’s why I got the coco handle instead of a flap Bc since it’s a top handle there will be less rubbing against my body compared to a flap.

I still adore this new style and if I can find the perfect white caviar and light gold hardware combo, i am keen to try it out. But I def made up my mind to not get either one mentioned in my poll. I think I kinda lost myself in the latest release and wanting more new things being the Chanel addict I am:giggle: I don’t love 19 but I don’t hate it either. But Too much going on in that style for my taste. I rather try out top handle mini just like you said:tup:

Oh sounds like your iridescent white coco handle really sparks joy! And smart girl for getting a top handle instead of flap with iridescent leather:tup:. This is good advice. It made me a bit more open minded about owning a iridescent piece. Thank you!

I also want to get a Chanel white bag and do hesitate between getting this mini with handle or waiting for a white coco handle. Do you know if any white coco handle will be released this year?
I’m not keen on the mini with handle’s caviar, it looks dry. On the other hand it can be worn crossbody much more comfortably than CCH. The downside is that the strap is not detachable like the CCH.

Not a fan of iridescent bags for ME, so plain white would be my choice in any bag. The Classic mini is perfect as is; however, I feel that the bag in your pics is trying to do something that the Coco Handle (and even the Trendy CC) already does quite well. This specific handle is underwhelming to me. However, I don't find anything about this bag that screams, "Don't do it!". It's very cute. Like an above poster, I like handles I can wrap in a cute twilly; might be deal-breaker for me, personally.

I have the pink mini handle and it is definitely not dry. It’s actually quite shiny

I ended up getting a white caviar cf from 21s. I heard there will be a white CCH this yr but forgot which exact season. Might be 21a. I personally think the mini top handle is here to stay for a least a few other collections. I saw it appeared again in 21k collection. I looooove the style and want to get one in the right combo eventually. But CCH allows you to wear on the crook of your arm, which could be a deal breaker for someone. Frankly, I think I want to add both styles to my collection.

Oh great I’ll have a look at 21A CCH, the mini with handle does look cute, wish I could get both too but this year I already bought the small CF in beige clair, the camellia vanity and plan to get a My lady Dior lol.

I feel like this design might actually be here for a while... and I hope it does. I loved it as soon as I saw it as was able to get the black caviar. It'll definitely be here for at least two more seasons but not in caviar unfortunately, so if you can get caviar now, I would.

I also like it so much more than the CCH. For some reason, I just can't get on board with the style.

I love mini with handle so much . Mine is black caviar and I use it more than mini lambskin . Very durable , the quality is great , and way more comfy than coco handle . I hope the style stay and will come many more colors with caviar leather in future . It’s going to be hot bag for sure .

A newbie here. I really am very interested in buying mini rectangle top handle in black grained calfskin. I would appreciate if anybody has any info if this will come back in stock. I personally don't know any Chanel SAs here in Canada so not sure where to look for help in getting this bag.

You’ll need to go pre-owned or reseller. This was a seasonal piece and no info about it coming back. Sorry!
