21s classic “mini” with top handle dilemma

Guys!! I would love your feedback on this...

1. Which white classic handle would you pick if you have to pick one?

2. Do you see this as a potential design that is here stay for many more years?

3. For those of you who want to add a white Chanel bag to your collection (but already owned a few other classic flaps in other colors and sizes), would you just stick with classic flaps instead of this top handle mini?

I will definitely stick to the classic mini flap without handle.

Somehow I don’t like bag with a handle that will pull the flap part up all the time. I will be worried about the problem will affect the sustainability of the bag. Well, this is my personal taste. I love the structure of CCH and mini classic flap without the handle. CCH has a very strong top flap and the classic is always classic.

Not a fan of the handle at all. I would stick to coco handles and regular mini classics.

If you must pick one, then it has to be the caviar -at least that would be the reason for getting it.

I have a white iridescent old mini coco handle and still plan to get a white classic flap eventually

I also don’t see longevity with this style. You’d be better off with a coco handle or mini lady Dior if that’s what u want

Thank you for your helpful insight! You have a good point. I didn’t really think about the longevity of the bag due to this top handle design. On the contrary, coco handle does look a lot more sturdy! I was totes after a coco handle but after I saw this I was intrigued.

When it was first revealed on the runway show, I was like “meh.. this classic top handle got nothing on coco handle”. But the more I looked at it, it kinda started to look cute lol!!

And yes you are right. Lambskin produced these day is worse in quality. Caviar all the way! thank you so much for your feedback!

How are you liking your white iridescent coco handle? Do you think it is a very wearable color? Is iridescent leather harder to maintain?

yeah I see your point. I am after a top handle that I can wrap cute twillies with, but the handle on this top handle mini does not look like it will stay up...

I guess we can never too many classic flaps

honestly, i think the top handle mini looks counterfeit. i would always go for a classic mini.

I might’ve agreed with everyone until I saw one “in person“ in a picture on here. I actually think it’s quite cute and a much more lasting style than say the Chanel 19 which I think is way too trendy.
