21P sweet flap unboxing! + a bit about the sweet mini

I have some comparison photos taken ytds at the store. Received a call to pick up black mini but but but I fell in love with the sweet classic in navy I made an impulsive decision to bring both bags home though I knew the navy bag suited my lifestyle more.
I could fit my iPhone 11, a small sanitizer, a small pack of wet wipes and CC coin purse into it. I like that it’s so much lighter than all my classic minis and I don’t have to baby it as much as the lambskin ones. In fact, I took much longer to decide if I should bring the black lamb mini home ytds

Congratulations! I know what you mean: at the time I purchased my Sweet Flap I was also lining up my other purchases and deciding which one to leave. It was a tough decision only because I typically don't like buying more than one bag at a time or within a short timeframe, but I too kept it and am so happy I did! Enjoy both of your bags

Yea I’m glad to know I’m not all alone in this! Somehow I wasn’t as excited over the black mini (mainly cuz of its quality) that I’ve waited for years but still it’s a gorgeous classic to keep!

Update on my Sweet Flap, which I ended up ordering. Wore her out for the first time this week, then I see this at night when I'm putting her away. I could not believe my eyes! For this much money (actually, for ANY amount of money), this should not have happened. I checked this bag thoroughly when I received it, and everything looked absolutely perfect. Chanel's recent quality is just so disappointing. Hoping my SA can do something about this, even though it's past the return/exchange period. I really liked this bag, too.

For this much money (actually, for ANY amount of money), this should not have happened. I checked this bag thoroughly when I received it, and everything looked absolutely perfect. Chanel's recent quality is just so disappointing. Hoping my SA can do something about this, even though it's past the return/exchange period. When I checked mine at the store, it had 2 twisted parts along the chains but I forgot to look at the stitching. Oh dear thanks for sharing! Im so going to scrutinise it once I’m home later. IKR their QC has really gone downhill Even my brand new lamb mini has so much creases all over that I couldn’t believe it’s “new” from shipment when I compared it with my older minis. I’m really hoping that your SA has a good solution for your bag!!

When I checked mine at the store, it had 2 twisted parts along the chains but I forgot to look at the stitching. Oh dear thanks for sharing! Im so going to scrutinise it once I’m home later. Yes, I've never encountered this type of situation before, so I'm really holding my breath that something positive will come of this. Check yours before using, and then check again before putting it away. Hope mine is just a (bad) fluke and yours will be good

Hi dear, I just scrutinise mine under the daylight. I thought I had checked the entire bag close enough at the store but oh well I still missed out on these white stains/ glue stains?? There are about 5 of them all in between the stitches, all concentrated at the bottom part. Not sure what these are but when I tried to clean it, it stuck to my finger. When I tried to pull it, it has this mozzarella cheese strings effect I’m really hoping you can get an exchange because it’s such a nice bag nevertheless.

This bag looks beautiful!! I’m actually hoping to see it irl. Hopefully my SA has one for me. But am worried about potential color transfer/ discoloration over time. Have always been afraid of owning white bags. Any tips on how to care for the bag?

Well I'm a little worried too, haha. I definitely will not wear it with jeans and hopefully I can find some kind of insert to use to keep the interior clean. I'm sure there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum on how to take care of white bags but admittedly, I haven't had the chance to search yet. Can anyone please help guide us in the right direction?

I wonder what that is... From your description on the consistency, it sounds like some type of adhesive/glue. Have you maybe sent a picture to your SA asking about it? Thank you so much for your good wishes. It would be a dream to be able to exchange, but I know it won't happen since I'm past that window. I've never had to send any bag away for repair, but if it ends up that is the case, I hope it won't be gone for so many months (as I've heard from others is the case), and I hope the stitch will be really reinforced. oh no I don’t have a regular SA because I usually shop overseas prior to the closure of international borders Back in my country there’re only 2 stores and 1 store is notorious for only providing “professional” service to big buyers so I’m left with the other store that’s always flooded with business. I always envy other countries with both Chanel and departmental stores

I am really sad to hear about the quality issues on this bag, I am really interested in the medium in navy. I just had a classic mini in black lamb skin I had to return because of quality.
