I use my YSL Lou Camera a lot so something around that size or a just a little bigger would be perfect.
I believe some of the contemporary brands have camera bags that would offer a good alternative. Dooney's all weather leather is a good option and as @whateve said, their bags are sturdy and long-lasting.

My Pochette Metis has become my favorite crossbody bag because it's roomier than a camera bag (prefer the size to my Gucci camera/shoulder bag), and I like the extra space as well as the small top handle. However, it does have a flap versus a zip so that's something to consider if you prefer a zip. Coach had a bag that was very similar (can't remember what it was called - Cassie?) but I don't know if they make it anymore. If they do still make it, it would be a good option for you to consider, as long as you like that style of bag.

I have a Cassie 19, which is a little smaller than the regular Cassie. It is an easy carefree bag. I'm pretty sure they still make both sizes, or they would have it at the outlet.

My minds not on fashion right now but I did try to use rarely used bags.

Blakes (now vintage but bought new) belt bag in animal-print hair-calf this weekend.
I know it may seem more of an Autumn/Winter bag but I actually hate to get fur/hair-calf wet.

Today, alligator Biagini and calf bag (around 1980 - inherited) worn cross-body to take contemporary candle holders (hate candles atm) and 2 x early 1960s suits to the charity shop. Beautiful bag. I am glad to see they are still producing exotics including ostrich python and crocodile. If I go to Italy, I would definitely be looking at a new one, Italian skill and beauty without the Gucci and Prada price tags.

I’ve failed miserably in the no buy month-having not bought a bag since last July..

My admirer returned from his holiday on Friday, and took me out for the day yesterday (Saturday).

We had a lovely Italian lunch, and whilst there weren’t any high end designer boutiques, I bought a Reiss black gabardine blazer, Reiss white cotton gabardine blazer, Reiss black gabardine mini skirt, Guess ice blue satin sleeveless blouse, 2 Guess black T-shirts and impulse bought a pink Guess bag for the summer.

He bought me a Jo Malone perfume and a silver and diamond necklace.

Tbh I thoroughly enjoyed myself..
It sounds like it was a marvelous day! ❤️

I should leave you with a link to Biagini: https://biagini1968.com/en/collecti...bNS2PXmiurheQ9OXz8Zj3sqprtQkX-_lctSYSpb-KWi8F

I truly like my Tory Burch Virginia Small Courier - it is a small, nylon crossbody, has a wide strap, a back pocket, an interior front pocket that zips shut and is under the front flap. The front flap is small, and has 2 heavy duty snaps. I can fit all of my things (small wallet, cosmetic bag, epipen, passport (in that zipped pocket0, phone) in it too. I added a cute braided leather top handle, which made it even more functional and is kinda cute.

Tory just put this on sale. Going to give it a try.

I have been pulling bags I have not used in ages. It has been fun. I wish the rain would stop so I could try more of them. I had picked up a different bag. It was a Dr. Martens bag. My husband saw it in the car on the way home and for the first time ever said a bag was hideous. I was going to use it as an alternate rain bag. He doesn't normally react to my bags at all, unless they are GFG because he loves the smell of their leather. I showed him a picture of the Tory that I later ordered and he said that was nicer than the Dr. Martens. I temporarily listed the Dr. Martens thinking it wouldn't sell and then decide which bag I liked more once the Tory arrived. I did that because it was going to be the only slightly sunny day for pictures. Well the Dr. Marten sold and I still think it was cute. The strap was a bit hard on it, but the top handles would have been comfortable. Did you ever let a significant other effect how you feel about an item?
