Yeah…I don’t totally understand how this would end up cheaper for them unless they printed batches of the canvas already pre-cut into the shapes & sizes needed to make each specific bag? Otherwise it seems like it would’ve been more of a headache for them to make them this way rather than make a bunch of the multicolor canvas and have the artisans cut from it as needed to produce the styles ordered…who knows, some had mentioned it could be a way to discourage returns based on color placement, which sort of makes sense…overall the re-release seems to be of lesser quality than the OG pieces, as is true with pretty much anything Vuitton these days…vintage will always have my heart because it seems that’s when they actually used to care about quality control as opposed to today when they act like we should be happy we were deemed worthy to purchase from themYou know how the new gen monogram multicolore ended up having exactly the same colour placement on the same styles, do you think they will do the same for the cherry blossoms pattern placement?
I'm thinking it definitely made the multicolore less unique and was likely a cheaper way to manufacture the designs, since LVMH is all about cost cutting.
