You know how the new gen monogram multicolore ended up having exactly the same colour placement on the same styles, do you think they will do the same for the cherry blossoms pattern placement?

I'm thinking it definitely made the multicolore less unique and was likely a cheaper way to manufacture the designs, since LVMH is all about cost cutting.

Yeah…I don’t totally understand how this would end up cheaper for them unless they printed batches of the canvas already pre-cut into the shapes & sizes needed to make each specific bag? Otherwise it seems like it would’ve been more of a headache for them to make them this way rather than make a bunch of the multicolor canvas and have the artisans cut from it as needed to produce the styles ordered…who knows, some had mentioned it could be a way to discourage returns based on color placement, which sort of makes sense…overall the re-release seems to be of lesser quality than the OG pieces, as is true with pretty much anything Vuitton these days…vintage will always have my heart because it seems that’s when they actually used to care about quality control as opposed to today when they act like we should be happy we were deemed worthy to purchase from them

Perhaps the pattern is the same, but my old cardholder right next to my PA is visibly yellowed. Thing is, the cardholder is very well taken care of and I don't use it much, so the yellowing means LV couldn't have used same batch of MC canvas from back in the days due to oxidation. I will try to post a picture in daylight when the weather is good. Right now we're still raining heavily.

I didn‘t think I would buy anything from any drop I was just set on the cherry speedy 20 to begin with, but I‘m genuinely excited for all releases and hyped! I ended up with many MC Items in white so I‘m on a roll now I guess 😂🙌🏼

I’m considering the Speedy 25 or Boulogne. And maybe a bag charm or two.

I learned my lesson from multicolor to not get my hopes up. I went in with lofty dreams and ended up grateful for whatever scraps I could get 😭😂

I’m VIC but only at the $25k level so if they do as they did for multicolor I’ll be hustling for scraps again.

I’m torn between a pochette and a speedy 25. For nostalgia pochette has been on my list since the announcement but the practicality of what I would use the most of today is the speedy 25. I’m also kind of interested in the nice mini, a bandeau and a bag charm! I didn’t get anything from MC and definitely had FOMO. although I love the nostalgia of the white MC I Just didnt think i would get much use out of it.

My want is the all pink Alma BB, but I just got my second Alma in the MC drop and I cannot make that pink work with my wardrobe.

Considering the cosmetic pouch to have something in that colourway, although I don’t like the flower placement in the sample pic so maybe not. If it’s the same size as the Kusama one I have it’s surprisingly spacious and can convert into a bag with a little fiddling. But it still doesn’t work with my wardrobe … and I still haven’t used the Kusama one. 😬

I will probably try for the charm (the flat looking one, not the furry thing) but won’t be surprised if it’s never actually available online.

I was thinking about the speedy 25 or the PA. But I'm really having second thoughts. Truthfully, I wonder how often I would wear this speedy 25 with smiling cherry blossoms which sometimes look a little scary. It's a love and hate. The PA, I already got in white MC, so really no need for another limited edition.

I'm really torn.

I’m eyeing the Nano Nice and a bagcharm, maybe also a bandeau and the perfume for the bottle. I don’t really fancy the flower faces on the bags.

I still have so much mc fatigue. I guess I kinda like the papillon but I really don’t want to order anything blindly or give them any deposits ever again.

The horizon could be cute but I would want to get the matching keepall with it and I’m so not in the mood to spend that much money (and effort) on this drop.

No. No charm for me. On a scale of 1 to 10. Panda was 11, and these cherry blossom ones are a 6.

I probably won't get anything from this drop. I feel too old for cherry blossom, but not for the 1st drop, I don't know why. I'm also experiencing fatigue. Will wait for cerise collection.
