You're right. It's going to be the regular monogram with cherry blossoms. You like this pattern? I'm ambivalent. I do have quite a few pink outfits to go with this bag.
I saw the sneak pics the cerise line, it comes in the speedy 20. That's too small. So the only chance for me to get a 25 would be in the cherry blossom. I've already missed the 25 white MC.
Presale started around Dec 6th for VIC right? So I'd assume it'd be roughly the same timeline for the subsequent releases, about 3-4 weeks before the date?
I really prefer the pink based with cherry blossom rather than Vachetta leather, usual mono based with the cherry blossom. I admit that it was this design that caught my eyes 20 years back when I was still a poor student. I wanted to get it for the sake of fulfilling that wish.
The only decent pink on pink bags for me is the Alma BB and Noeneo BB. But I honestly cannot work with Alma BB to fit my lifestyle. Bought 3, sold 3. Similarly, I’m also not an open-top bag person no matter how much I try to psycho myself to try or accept.
If I find about functionality in terms of my usage, a speedy 25 or Boulogne would fit me better since I already own these and love them. But my next issue is the Vachetta leather (which LV is famous for and I also cannot accept it well, no matter how much I tried to convince myself - bought them, used them, became too worried about them, sold them).
I feel sad that I might not get anything from this first love collection. But I know many people are discussing that this collection (cherry blossom) is too small it’s ridiculous to buy something for the sake of buying (I agree too).
So I’m still at crossroads.

I'm exactly where you are. Not in love, just like the idea of owning the speedy 25. But that's not a good reason to buy. I also don't know what to do so I guess I won't be placing a pre-order. Maybe just let this drop slide.
Besides I spent over $5000 on the 1st drop buying the flower speedy 20 and white MC PA. I just really don't need to spend anymore money. I thought about getting a charm or a bandeau, something, but nothing caught my eyes.

You know how the new gen monogram multicolore ended up having exactly the same colour placement on the same styles, do you think they will do the same for the cherry blossoms pattern placement?
I'm thinking it definitely made the multicolore less unique and was likely a cheaper way to manufacture the designs, since LVMH is all about cost cutting.
