The problem about this collection is the colour pink in combination with the 100 smiling faces on every bag. Hubby and I are in our 40's (and I have a younger style). I showed him the collection and he said that the bags look like teenager bags to him. They are very loud and don't look like bags for adults (instead of the multicolor collection that only has the LV logo in multiple colors, we loved it btw and he encouraged me to buy). He voted for the Marellini because of it's versatility if I can't stand the design anymore
I mentioned earlier in this thread that I have made a store appointment for the 21st. Yesterday I asked my online SA about the launch of the collection.He said that he doesn't know anything about it yet. First I thought he doesn't want to tell me or avoid the preorder conversation. But now I am afraid that he really doesn't know anything because there is nothing to know/this collection won't be here in stores (I am in Europe)
Sounds like you simply dislike the murakami designs. I suggest you wait and find something you "can stand" vs compromising on something just for the sake of having it. Maybe the summer collection will have something better suited to your taste.

There's definitely info out there, I'm also in Europe and my SA reached out a few time with info and updates on the info. Pre orders for prestige clients are on 7th, on the 14th there a digital pre launch and on 21st orders can be taken in store by SA. Probably no stock will hit the stores tho, only orders come in.
How does the digital pre-launch work? Is it starting midnight or sometime during the day?
I am still so undecided about what I want to go for, because I want to take my shot effectively, but the closer the date the more it seems impossible

I'm not entirely sure but I think with MC the items started to pop up around 9 in the morning paris time. I don't think I will try to get anything in the digital prelaunch tho as I don't like the whole refresh frenzy and I'm sure I will be left disappointed. My SA was confident he could place my order on release day so probably will wait out for that.
So I was sent the lookbook with prices but it was no different than all the other lookbooks I get sent usually. Meaning this is definitely not treated like the MultiColour Drop. I am waiting to hear back from my SA today to see how ordering process will be handled. I am in France.
My husband actually said it looks tacky when I showed him and begged me not to get anything from this cherry blossom collection. Lol... Though I do want the Victorine wallet.

So according to my SA, the look book is all that is available on the French market. Which does not include accessories or shoes… (I find that strange)
Also, quantities are way more limited. Therefore, although they take prepayment for orders, they cannot guarantee availability.
However she did mention to me that it is similar to how I got my Speedy MC, although it was the simplest way. I ordered, paid and received it.
So I need to really think if I want to prepay for anything not knowing I will receive my item for sure… 🤔
I do own the original Papillon Cherry Blossom 🌸 but was considering the Speedy or Pochette Accessoires of this drop. Decisions decisions!

You don't have to like the Cherry Blossom collection. I understand, I'm in my 40s as well. I'm not getting anything and besides my 2 CAs don't seem enthused to help me at all! So my wallet's safe.
I do regret not getting more multicolor pieces, but it wasn't my choice. I couldn't find anything, unless I want to do the reseller route, which I don't.
LV prices are getting out of hand, you really have to buy something you will treasure for years to come. Happy shopping! Did you know men's collection is having iridescent multicolor pieces? Looks like white MC but with the SHEEN. I cannot wait!
