On your Mini, it's because Chanel is so practical to wear! I would bet you use the outer pocket on the Mini a lot. That outer pocket, which Hermes does not do outer pockets (except for the Lindy) is to me, what makes their bags so annoying & non-usable! :nuts: Oh yea.. and no straps on the B?! It's a huge tote, to lug through airports, and no shoulder straps?! :shocked:

I recommend you give Chanel some loving and visit a boutique. Plus, the best part of Chanel... the matchy matchy bags and cool shoes! No other luxury clothing brand to me even comes close to the matchy matchy theme! :smile::heart:

Hehe, never used the outer pocket on my mini. I had to go and check to see if it even had one :biggrin:.. fun fact? I actually used to be a Chanel lover before I jumped ship and went on the Hermès bullet train. I have owned, tried and tested quite a few bags from Chanel and rehomed each of them other than my chanel mini. I am not a fan of their quality. I find Hermès craftsmanship to be sublime and it’s hard to compromise on that once I went that route. Thankfully reached a stage where I know exactly which bags work for me after making a gazillion costly mistakes. By the way, when I travel, I only use the LV Neverfull in MM size. That’s my best travel buddy :biggrin:

This makes me realize I only added two pieces in 2021. YG small frivole earrings and made-to-order two motif earrings. I’m waiting for the 10 motif RG necklace to come in. From there, my list includes RG pave frivole earrings and maybe alternating gray mop bracelet. I’m wondering if I should accelerate my purchase of the earrings since they are available but I wanted to save up more and purchase in January.

I say get them now as they are available. Whether you get them today or in January, that's only 5 months from now.
5 months will not make a difference financially in the whole scope of life, but now you have the earrings in hand.

Save up more to purchase when you are ready would be my choice. Unless, you can swap out the 10 motif and get the pave earrings first in it’s place? But, only if you want the earrings more than the 10 motif.
Looking forward to being twins with you on the earrings and the GMOP pave bracelet one day.

Filled the gap for the daily wear earrings. Got the small WG frivoles (not pave), which is a perfect size and very casual and easy. It's strange because I don't LOVE the earrings, but I reach for them a lot, to change up from the pave sweet Alhambras. Weird. I got some pearl studs and a fun pair of JUC hoops in YG which allow me more variation. Thus not dying to add another pair of earrings for the time being.
Did place a SO for a carnelian and WG bracelet, which isn't going to be done until early 2022.
Decided on the perlee diamond single row bracelet, which I may pull the trigger on in December or early 2022, so this may not count as a 2021 wishlist items. Well, I'm wishing for it in 2021, but likely won't happen until 2022, which is my 25th anniversary anyway. So that will work. :smile:

the single row Perlee is stunning too!
I know what you mean about having a perfect pair of earrings which you don’t necessarily love but tend to keep reaching for. There is a pair of VA earrings I’ve owned twice and sold twice and I’m itching fir them AGAIN because they’re so easy and practical!!!

Same! I sold all my channels except my black WOC. I only wear that bag once a year but figure my daughter might use it some day. I could never get Chanel to work. Hates the chains, found them heavy and stiff. I started buying H bags in my 20s so by now I know which styles and colours work. And the same bags I bought a decade ago still work for me today. I also find h bags and scarves and vca look beautiful together. My trusted LV neverfull is my work bag. That thing is indestructible.

Thank you for your advice. Do you like the bracelet? I have the malachite and alternating pave. I find it flips but I like adding it to the 20 motif. With the gray, I was planning on adding it to the 10. I wish I had the 10 earlier - I think I would have worn it a lot this summer.
