Finally took my Boulogne out for a spin. Spending the weekend in Austin and the my goodness, the versatility of the strap makes her the perfect travel bag and in the noir it’s completely worry free. I wore it is a crossbody at the airport and switched to a shoulder bag once we arrived and headed out to enjoy the city.
For reference, I am 5’5” size 10/12 and you can see where it hits for me worn as a crossbody.

It’s quite roomy. I’m carrying my mini pochette to house all the random floating items (lip gloss, pens, hand lotion), my cles as a hard holder which also has my house key, my car key, another small leather pouch for cash and other random paper items, a pair of sunglasses in a soft pouch, a portable phone charger and my mask...and of course my iPhone XS Max which I think is about the same size as the iPhone 12 Pro Max. There is still plenty of space to add more without warping the shape of the bag.
A full size long wallet would fit fine. I just don’t carry one. I’m a cardholder girl.
One thing that probably wouldn’t fit is a standard water bottle but I carry a giant hydroflask and it barely fits in any of my bags so that’s no biggie for me.
It looks so great on you!! I ordered it about 2 weeks ago, paid deposit and I can't wait to have it! So versatile and careless bag, perfect for everyday use.
I think it typically depends on the popularity and since it’s a new style, I doubt they would come out with another print right away. I think both of those alonG with DA would be excellent options too!
If I could customize any bag from LV it would be a Boulogne bag in DA with Indigo leather trim.
I would say the boulogne fits a little more. The boulogne has one big hole vs. the two flat compartments for the metis.
recently i saw someone carrying this bag in the tube and now i really want one, even though i’m not a (huge) monogram fan

To me the metis holds more. It's also easier to get your items in/out of.
I have both and Boulogne fits more. I don’t like to put so much stuff on Metis because it will look bulky.
