Sales are good for gifts and things you may have missed out on but don't feel badly about paying full price. Personally, I prefer to take first pick of the season and get only the things I really, really want and wear. Most things come up again in good condition on the preloved market sometime anyway so never worry.

Congrats to everyone at the sale!
I picked up these goodies and I went back yesterday to look for items for my girlfriend who is out of state and couldn't make it the sale.
Finally home and took a group shot of my finds from the sale. I said I wouldn't go back because day 1 was so successful but my DBF kept saying we should go back in case the stock changes so we went on days 1, 2 and 4 of the public sale. We made new friends with both shoppers and employees. This was truly an amazing experience and I'm glad we flew out for the sale. Now it's time to get myself to Ban Island!

Thank you! It was my first sample sale and being Hermes it made it more special. I was worried it would be hectic or something from a horror movie (lol) but it turned out great and I had so much fun and made many new friends. An unforgettable experience!

My two purchases from the sale! I had four 90cm scarves at one point and two Maxi Twillys, but I am very much a minimalist and didn't think I'd get much wear out of them. I like this 90 in specific because it looks like a bandanna when folded as such.
I really, really liked the Métamorphoses 90cm in the grey hue, but I knew that I wouldn't wear it. So back it went. I actually had the last silk-blend Losange and a 90cm that was 2 scarves sewn together (half all black silk and half red equestrian print). I put back the Losange and one of my girlfriends was happy to take the patched 90cm.
I was most interested in the men's RTW. However, the selection was so-so, and the price was still absurd. I went to the Lanvin sample sale in NYC last week, and they RTW there was 80% off. So it was difficult to stomach only 60% off, haha

Thank you! The cavalier du caucase is my favorite H scarf from this haul. The colors go with pretty much everything in my wardrobe.
