I posted my experience about the private sale on Wednesday earlier. My friends asked me to go to sales again with them, as they needed my H expertise to help them make decisions. We had a blast today.
We got there at 9 am and there were about 10 people in front of us. And we got in when the door opened at 11. We focused mostly on cashmere shawls.
Most of the shawls were same prints as the other day, but there were a few Tyger Tyler (2 CW: blue and burnt brown) and Zebra Pegasus (2 CW: blue and green). Those were gone pretty fast.
At end, between my friends and myself, today we bought these shawls:
Tyger Tyger in blue,
Zebra Pegasus in blue/black/white,
Fleurs et Papillons de Tissus in fuchsia (the only one but has a small running thread).
Flamingo Party in two different CWs,
Brides et Gris Gris in two CWs,
Peuple du vent in two CWs
Collections imperiales in royal blue/black/gold
We also got about twenty 90 silk, a couple of maxi twilly and seven bracelets.
My friends drove 2.5 hrs to the sale, but they left with a big smile and all said it's worth the trip. I will post pictures tomorrow.

It was mostly blue colors. They had a gold and bright navy blue, rose gold and like a periwinkle blue, and one rose gold and baby blue. There were probably less than 12 in total so I imagine they went pretty fast. They were in the clic clac and xl style.

I was there this morning and was approximately #20 in line. After having been there on Wednesday & Friday I felt that the merchandise had dwindled immensely. I left around 12:30 ish and there was a decent line waiting outside in the rain.

I stopped by late afternoon today and the stocks got depleted a lot from yesterday. I managed to find a few things for my friends but only two scarves for myself. My friends live 2.5 hrs away from Chicago. When they got home last night, they regretted not taking some scarves, so they are really happy I went to sale again today. ds but only two scarves for myself.
