Would this situation bother you? -- On Friday, the secretary at the office offered to get my bag from the other office (remember that I mentioned before that I hold 2 positions now). I was at the 3rd floor and the bag was at the 2nd floor. I had been going up and down a lot that day so when the secretary was asking me for some contribution for something, I expressed that the bag (where my wallet was) was downstairs and I was already tired to get it. So she volunteered. I heard her voice when she came back. I waited a few seconds and wondered why she had not shown up at my cubicle. So I took a peek outside. The girls were checking my bag out! An older co-worker, a casual friend, was even modeling my bag! It was my latest black Massaccesi bag btw.

In our local culture, privacy is not as big as in the Western culture. I was half okay with what they did and half irked as well. Okay in the sense that they were admiring my bag. But irked that they did not even ask me if I'm good with it.

I don't like other people handling my bags because they often have long nails which can scratch nice leather. I am sure they meant well though.

I didn't really search for any of the specific Black Friday deals, as nothing on people's wish list were on those promos. So I did get shirts and shoes on clearance with the 30% off promo at the rack. That's about it. I was hoping to get some refurbished stuff price adjusted but I wasn't going to put up a fight.

But the main thing is, I returned what I didn't need and I didn't bring home any bags!! I made it through November with no bags and SLGs!! [emoji1] Nothing in or out though. Oh well. I'm proud nothing came in.

But there's an LV event next month....[emoji85]

I kinda wanted a vacuum but it was random of me to want one so I didn't do research on which to get. Needs to be for hardwood and tile and be able to handle pet fur. Haha. So I couldn't even get that yesterday.

I needed the same type of vacuum, and ordered the Shark Navigator Lift Away Upright vacuum off Amazon. Gets awesome reviews and was marked way, way down. Being delivered tomorrow.

Bake - sorry they didn't the PAs. That's unnerving that some places do and some don't. I didn't have any issues today.

Egg - I love it! I love plaid (inner grudge rocker here).

I'm soo very banned. Like beyond. I didn't have room and now have less room. In the last 10 days, I aquired 5 bags. Latest as the Burberry little crush. Small little crossbody for casual outings. It will go under the tree from my girls! Lol I found hiding in the clearance section at the Rack and got it for 150 (after PA, retail 850). I almost asked for it last year. I'll take photos of everything tonight. I scored big time this morning on clothing. I'm seriously set. Total ban for me now! Only allowance will be for Undies I still need to get.
Wow I can't wait to see these bags!!
You're getting a great non-bag gift for Christmas!!

Wow! I'm not sure I would have been able to do that.

5 bags in 10 days is great!! :D:graucho: Would love to see this Burberry little crossbody.

As for myself, I thought I was gonna make it this November without a bag purchase. I really tried very hard, with all the Black Friday sales I had access to. I put a bag in the cart, changed the color option, realized what I had done, removed the item and exited the site. :graucho: I thought that was it. Several hours later, there was an email I got from another site for a discount. I don't know why this time I did not resist. I got the Madison crossbody in pine from Gigi New York! Not really a very great discount, but something that made me finally make a go for it. I've been lusting for it for a while. I really thought I was gonna be good!
can't wait to see!

Lou- looking forward to see all your new goodies. That was a great deal.

For those of you who hit the sales what were your best deals? My dd found a $200. dress that was marked down to $46.00 after her discount , I added my door coupon of another $20. and she paid $26. total. We had so much fun.
congrats on ur gift!! I didn't buy anything else except for the backpack and I think that was a pretty good deal. Not including tax it was 74, down from 198.

I think I'd feel the same way

I don't mind if they ask to try on my bag in person, but I may mind for them to check it out behind my back. I concern about the stuff inside. If they didn't open it to see what's inside or try it on just to make fun of me, that's fine. But I'll tell them in the humor-filled manner, just to lessen the potential embarrassment, that if they really like or curious about my bag, they can ask me to try it on in person next time. :)
I've encountered this kind of event before. After this conversation, we feel bonded a bit more. She asks if she can try on my bag or handle it sometimes. I can give her feedback if she should get this style or not. And she seems more careful with my bags than before. I guess sometimes, when the curiosity is lessen, people treat it as a more normal things and less gossiping. ;)

I didn't get any new clothing articles. And no bags. I do feel like I want to get something, but have no idea what it is so I went online and dropped by shopping mall. Nothing caught my eyes though. I ended up getting myself 2 books and 2 set of fun-looking graphic brooches to spice up my very plain cardigan. I also a tube of my favorite BB cream. I'm just so sick of trying to finish the one that I bought but do not like, just because I don't want to throw it away or let it rot on my vanity table.

I lost out on bidding of the DVD I really really want on Friday, but I found another bid on it yesterday. I'm trying to win it though. Hope I can win it this time.

The firework festival was a success. DD loves it so much and we hope we can make it next year. There're other 4 countries that send in the set and their shows are all marvelously impressive. I tried to take photo, but well, I'm a crappy photographer so... These are from the news. :)

Congrats on the seemingly successful shopping trip, everyone! :)

MSD- I would be bothered. That's my personal items and they aren't meant to be paraded around without permission. A task was assigned, to bring the items from A to B, not to stop in between and take a peek as to what's inside. That is very personal and encroaching on my privacy. I hope they didn't open your bag to see the contents. Then again, I am very big on privacy and respect for people's belongings.

Luckily, people do know I am very particular about my belongings, but I am also willing to share and let them try it on with permission.

Vink- hope you get the DVD and the fireworks look awesome!
