Today I met a friend for lunch and brought her the Italian croc leather bag. I said it is hers if she likes it. She liked it so much she took everything out of her other bag and wore it out to lunch today. I want to thank you all for suggesting I give the bag away rather then losing money by selling to a stranger. She was tickled pink and it made my day to see her so happy. She was sneaky though while we were browsing in the shops she picked up two of the braclets that have those different charms and things on them . I assumed they were for her or her daughter as they both wear them . Just as I was dropping her off I said do not forget your packages. She grins as said haha they are for you. What surprise and what sweet gift.

Aw.. You both are so lovely. Your story really makes me smile. I love this kind of friendship. :) You just don't take, but also give back. :) Great friendship bracelet you've got here. ;)

I had lunch with a friend today and he asked about my purse. I told him it was LV, and since he asked, I told him how much it was. I think his other half might not thank me for that, because now he feels better about wanting to get a new computer, lol. "Hey, I didn't spend as much on the computer as Laurel spent on her purse!" I somehow don't think that will go over well at home, lol.

Yeah, I don't go around announcing prices either, but he asked and I just knew it'd be ok to tell him. I think he was surprised, but he knows the work I've done on my finances the last several years, so his attitude was mostly "You're an adult, you have a job, you know what you can afford, so you should have the things you want." There's a reason I love him as much as I do! Of course, it doesn't hurt that he has his own spendy habits!

Well, I have one guy friend that sometimes I'm comfortable telling him the price if he ask. He rarely ask though, but that's because we go shopping together. :D And he never judge. Lucky that he's not married yet. I guess if your friend handle it in the humorous way, it should go well. I hope he won't give his wife the hard/uncomfortable time. :)

DC, that's a sweet story about your friend and the bag. If I were to give away a bag right now, and I should!!!!, I have a friend at work who has a very pretty taupe and black color block dress and jacket. And I have a tri-color satchel from Coach that I bought last year, black/taupe/white. It's an Alma shape and it really is a very pretty bag. I told her when I first saw her dress I was putting that bag in the will for her lol! And wouldn't it be great to bring it to work and the next time she's got the dress on, just hand over the bag. I may do that. If I don't quit buying, I am seriously considering in the coming new year of insisting with myself that for every bag in, I must give/sell/donate one bag out. This madness has to somehow be stopped LOL

If you're ready to give that bag to her, I'm sure doing so will definitely make her day. :)

Since all my friends know of my crazy obsession, I tell them the price. Lol. Those who have judged me before, I'm no longer close to them. Life is too short for pettiness. Everyone spends their money their own way.

And the friends I have kept because they are simply excited because I'm excited are slowly loving handbags too.

Your story just reminded me of how far I've come to not just be judged by what I'm wearing.

Coworker's a different story, but they can look up the price themselves (and they do lol).

Great job improving your finances!

Halloween is approaching and DD has a costume she wants in her head so we put it together tonight. It's not a hard one. I just make some adjustments on her clothes and add some accessories.

The flu or whatever must not want me to take anymore time off coz today, I just miraculously better. :D I guess it knows I'm free tomorrow. :D

Today I had a workshop so I just packed everything in my Borboleta Lyla tote.

You can say I stuff it to the brim. There's nothing glamorous about this tote, but it's comfortable enough for a day that I have to roll around in the studio. :)

I finally got my Kikki K compendium! It's beautiful!!!

It's more baby blue than this, which is my favorite color, and I should wait for the sun light to take a photo, but I just love it too much right now. It's a bit too big for my usual, but I will try to work it out. :) I'm a little bit sad that the lining looks like a flimsy fabric though. I wish the cotton is a little thicker. But overall it's a nice one. If only it's a little bit smaller then it'll be perfect. I'm waiting for my schedule book to arrive this weekend then I'll see how they fit together. It's so funny that after all these years, I still get excited over a new schedule book every year. :)

Very pretty! I get excited by a new planner too.

What are everyone's goals for November? My only goal is to not fill up the four bag slots I opened up. I will allow myself one if I really love it. Today I sprayed some limon perfume in the stinky bag. I hope it helps. I did spray fabreeze in it but it did not work not a whole bottle though.

I'll see if I have time. I've been swamped at work, I haven't even been able to go to the gym.

My goal was to not buy anything in November, but I just got $100 at Bloomingdales. haha. I gotta see what I can get at LV.

I better don't promise anything as there is Black Friday in November :) There are few bags on my wish list, if I will get any of these on great price then I will allow myself to buy one of them.

One thing I also tried is to carry parfume samples is the bag, you know the paper ones which are between magazines. It doesn't take the smell away but masks it.
