2015 resolution - shopping from my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

DC - I was happy during the first half of October since I did not buy anything. But the month is not yet over and I have 3 bags in and 1 slg in!! Only 1 bag out! I had a good number of sales last month, maybe why I splurged this month. Bad!! It is also my goal to have a month with zero in. Not happening so far. [emoji20]

The Linea Pelle bag is made of really soft Italian leather and I liked my first day with it! But I feel I need some soft bag charm to break the monotony of black leather. I never thought I'd look for a specific bag charm. Temporarily I used the metal charm from my Braun Buffel bag. Here is another shot to show size. It's between small and medium I'd say.

An update on my house hunting, we found one with a great view. I just made an offer. I'll have to wait and see if they'll take it or not. The place will need lots of interior work since it's so not my style, but that can be done later. I'm not in a hurry. Can I say Yay just now for the sake of finding one? I hope it works out.

Today I met a friend for lunch and brought her the Italian croc leather bag. I said it is hers if she likes it. She liked it so much she took everything out of her other bag and wore it out to lunch today. I want to thank you all for suggesting I give the bag away rather then losing money by selling to a stranger. She was tickled pink and it made my day to see her so happy. She was sneaky though while we were browsing in the shops she picked up two of the braclets that have those different charms and things on them . I assumed they were for her or her daughter as they both wear them . Just as I was dropping her off I said do not forget your packages. She grins as said haha they are for you. What surprise and what sweet gift.

Tuuli - Thanks! Linea Pelle is another brand I learned of thru tpf. I had a Dylan medium tote before but I gave it to my sister. Leather on it was so soft, but I was having a hard time with its unstructuredness, particularly when opening the zipper. But leather was really nice!

Vink - How nice, there will be 2 celebrations! And 2 dresses/gowns! Hope you will not have a hard time in the preparations!

I have never needed a bag charm before, so I don't know where to look now. LP has great leathers! And as I type now, the bag is behind me, ooohh, I can smell the heavenly leather scent!!

I had lunch with a friend today and he asked about my purse. I told him it was LV, and since he asked, I told him how much it was. I think his other half might not thank me for that, because now he feels better about wanting to get a new computer, lol. "Hey, I didn't spend as much on the computer as Laurel spent on her purse!" I somehow don't think that will go over well at home, lol.

If I were to give away a bag right now, and I should!!!!, I have a friend at work who has a very pretty taupe and black color block dress and jacket. And I have a tri-color satchel from Coach that I bought last year, black/taupe/white. It's an Alma shape and it really is a very pretty bag. I told her when I first saw her dress I was putting that bag in the will for her lol! And wouldn't it be great to bring it to work and the next time she's got the dress on, just hand over the bag. I may do that. If I don't quit buying, I am seriously considering in the coming new year of insisting with myself that for every bag in, I must give/sell/donate one bag out. This madness has to somehow be stopped LOL

I am trying to avoid telling the price of bags to people. Nonbaglovers don't get it. Like - How much for a bag???

Yeah, I don't go around announcing prices either, but he asked and I just knew it'd be ok to tell him. I think he was surprised, but he knows the work I've done on my finances the last several years, so his attitude was mostly "You're an adult, you have a job, you know what you can afford, so you should have the things you want." There's a reason I love him as much as I do! Of course, it doesn't hurt that he has his own spendy habits!

I'm having somewhat a hard time, actually. I'm kinda too big for the garment that I own so it's likely that I'll have to get everything new. And I really hope to lose weight so I hope that I won't have to use them again. I have a piece of traditionally woven fabric that's too small for me to wear now. It's a pity coz it's beautiful, but I really can't fit into it now and I really want to. Well, but I'll work it out somehow.

I will definitely update on my new house. Now, it's like I'm dreaming in advance. Well, I hope I know his answer soon.

I usually get my charms from street venders. Check out the area where teenagers usually hang out. They have cute stuff, if that's what you're after. Often, the quality is great, too. Craft market is another great place. Otherwise, maybe contemporary designer brands? I'm not big on expensive charm so... I wouldn't say Fendi bag bug. I mean it's cute, but too expensive for me.

And you really make me regret on not jumping on that Venice tote. Well, I like that bag so much. I don't know what keep stoping me from getting one until it's all gone. 🤔
