Oh, new scarves? Hope you show them off in your style book thread. How do you wear your twillys?

Yes, no more. I'm with you. After YouTube videos, reading reviews and threads and chatting with DH, I decided to go ahead and buy the bag with my consignment money. In the meantime I moved into my Gucci Nice tote since it's rainy. Will snap a photo tmw.

I definitely will post outfits with my scarves. I have very colorful ones. And possibly a new obsession since I feel content over bags. I just want the mon mono but no others have made it onto the must have list.

ETA: scarves up on the stylebook thread. And forgot to answer your question! I wear them in my hair, either as a headband or a bow on my ponytail. I tie them on my bag too.

Which bag was it? Can't wait to see.

Really like this bag, is it canvas?

Yup! Same canvas as the neo. :)

Spending weekend at my parents while DH is away and just hanging out with them. Carrying my Coach soho small hobo - she's carrying my current wallet, key holder, phone, kleenex, and small notebook and pen. I think she is my smallest bag not counting small crossbody and clutches.

Spent a full work week with KS and still undecided. I think I hadn't used her in long enough stretches before - most of the uncertainty I had about her aren't as bad as I thought, but she still def can't fit as much as other bags I have in her size because of her middle compartment and structure. Will continue to use her next week.

I really really like this bag! The leather looks sooooo lush. 😍 Do I remember right, that you were undecided last year about letting her go? Good, that you've kept her...

I ended up getting the Montorguiel PM. It's in great condition and love the shoulder carry aspect.

Thanks for the ideas of the twillys. I only have 1 or 2 but just never use them. Going to check out your thread now.

Hugs to you, Clevercat. I know, you will stay strong! Perhaps you can distract yourself also by spending a lot of time with your other cats?

Thank you! Yes, we're all missing Norton so I'm spending as much time as I can distracting them from the grief...
I've purged my wardrobe and have found just SO. MUCH. to donate...ugh, I wasted so much money. But the upside is an animal rescue will benefit and also I found two dresses that were always too small for me - now they fit perfectly so I have 'new' things to wear to next week's meetings. Yay me. I am going to spend an hour or so now looking for a new wardrobe.
Meanwhile I have spent some money today. I needed to find a purse organiser before I could use my new-to-me Saint Laurent bag. I've just ordered this - in purple to match the bag

Can't wait for it to arrive!

Bake- I love your new Longchamp. It looks almost like a stingray pattern.
Clevercat-Great job fitting back into your smaller sizes. I hope to follow in your footsteps.
Yesterday, I wore my LV beaubourg ad then in the evening we went to dinner in an area that is not so good, but the restaurant is fantastic so I switched out to a leather bag I picked up in Switzerland years ago.

Today , I dug out my LV Cabas beaubourg . It is such a user friendly bag. I really was in shopping mode, so I shopped my closet for a bag.

You've been doing a great job of shopping your closet dcooney!

I really like the little Soho. Know what you mean about evaluating bags in one's current collection. In addition to the 2, I have for sale now, I think I'll donate another one. ETA: added a comma ;).

clevercat, please allow yourself the time to grieve. I think it's important that you recognize during stressful times you either buy or purge. I am sending supportive thoughts your way.

So happy I carried this today. It was pouring on the way home.

I've...been bad.

DBF kept his word on the second scarf. And I basically had the whole store to myself...

I came home with 1 90cm scarf and 2 twillys. And a tie for DBF. Lol

So now I've got to enforce my ban to my birthday.

But I did return a blouse with the clutch. Lol. Sigh.

Very pretty and unique LC, bake!

Great job on the closet cleaning clevercat! It's wonderful that the animal rescue will benefit. Yay, for the 2 dresses!

May I ask what brand of bag organizer this is? I have never used one, but after the posts on this thread, think I may need one. This one looks really functional.

Thanks for the pic, dcooney. I did not know what the Beaubourg looked like. You never cease to amaze me with the hidden gems in your closet, either. Your bag from Switzerland is stunning!

Wow Mimmy 21 is amazing!

Oh my dcooney, I should have put a comma between "2" and "I"! My collection is fairly modest compared to some; if I sold 21, I'd have no bags left, lol!

I am suddenly having lots of issues with weird articles popping up on tpf when I am on my phone. Is anyone else?

Not yet, I'll let you know if I do.

Hi Mimmy! It's a Samorga liner. The owner/designer has been lovely to deal with. I have used organisers in the past but never been happy with the quality. This one is made of lightweight felt and I love the fact you can choose the colour you want. It'll take about a fortnight to get to me so I'll post photos when it gets here.

Gosh this thread moves so fast! Egg - I think you asked what I'm thinking of consigning. I have sent photos of a few things off for a quote - including some Chanel and Balenciaga. I have noticed that when I am grieving I either over-shop or I purge so I'll wait until the quotes come back before deciding what to do. After all, before Christmas I was congratulating myself on having a small but perfect bag collection with nothing missing....sigh. Part of me thinks it's just the heartache making me want to do something - ANYTHING - to stop feeling bad. Norton was one of those furry critters who got right into my heart. It's hard to wake up each morning and not have his medication and feeding routine...I just miss him.
Today I am going to go through my wardrobe. I have clothes in there that are unworn and way too big for me and I'm going to take them to an animal rescue charity shop. I also would like to buy a new wardrobe so this decluttering will I hope help me realise what size/storage areas I will need. Definitely need to look at how to store my bags and accessories away from scratchy little claws and teeth :-)

More hugs to you clevercat! Love the idea of donating to an animal rescue charity shop :)
