Thank you so much for sharing! I love the pattern on your organizer as well ❤️ Do you think it would fit inside a Speedy 25 at its smallest or would that be pushing it?

It's funny u say this cuz I was thinking this morning howthe firstweek feels so slow and I feel restless with my bag aand want to keep switching. Every year without faail, the first week is the hardest. It's ok :)

LVk8 I love ur Sukey!!!! It is a perfect gray, even for me! Butwhile the Sukey was a want of mine for yrs, I couldn't justify buying one until I got more use out of my pelham. I'll enjoy it through u!

The one I bought is a collaboration Gucci did with Unicef in 2010. I just kept googling "Unicef Sukey" & eventually landed on mine. They do pop up with decent regularity preloved if you decide that you're allowed to hunt one down eventually 👍

I love the Sukey bc it's essentially a satchel handle version of the Mahina XS which converts shoulder to crossbody. Really similar in dimensions, squashy shape & the intangible "Mary Poppins" property of being able to fit a ton of stuff despite the fact it's a medium size purse. I wish I could post a side by side pic for you but the PF app isn't letting me post pix today, wah wah...

Bake! Welcome home ❤️❤️❤️

Love the Orange on your Evelyne, what a fun color! Is the Longchamp textured? I also like your other one with the Rive Gauche, a cute compliment to your Eiffel Tower LC. Who knew Chanel made ties? I guess Krazy Karl needs to get his from somewhere, lol

Thanks!
The Longchamp isn't textured. It has a similar feel to the neo. The Rive Gauche has amazing stitching for the river! And I like the cute "here's where we are!" on both sides of the bank (the other side has the opposite bank in color). Sadly it isn't me who has the Eiffel Tower LP, I really want that one.

Seriously! I was wandering the boutique and came upon them. I get so excited over ties. I love wearing them but my workplace is very casual lol. So I get ties for DBF and finding such a surprise was fun. They surprisingly also weren't crazy in pattern or in your face Chanel. They were all subtly patterned with the CC logo, like this one.

I'm home!

And apparently once home I wake up at my normal 4am time. Or I have really bad jet lag. Not sure.

Here's all my shopping pics, London pics and clothes I'll post on my Stylebook thread.

Then the next day was Boxing Day, so I went through the madness at Longchamp and picked up these two.

And my lovely Burberry bag that accompanied me throughout my trip. It did so well and if anyone needs a small sized crossbody that fits a water bottle, camera, full sized bottle of Tylenol, hand sanitizer, phone, and a battery pack, this fits the bill. My pocket agenda wallet fit perfectly inside the zipped pocket, which gave me extra security. The slip pockets held my glasses cleaning cloth and fitbit, the other with an iPhone cable and battery charge pack.

I picked up sooo much stuff. It's insane.

Ferragamo got me, at the U.S. duty free! I picked up a hair clip.
Then the Ferragamo sales at New Bond Street landed me a pair of flats and the cutest mini bag keychain. (I'm liking mini bags. Sooo tempting to collect them)

Chanel!
The items at Chanel New Bond Street sale didn't appeal much to me.
So I picked up a brooch and a tie for DBF. We didn't even know they made ties!

And I also had a little fun at duty free. Though a bummer part was that I didn't know you could only claim your VAT 4 hours prior to your flight so I didn't get as much shopping time as I thought in duty free.

Though I haven't unboxed those yet. Haha. Got some little things at Mulberry, LV, and Burberry.

Still have some British pounds left. Lol. Surprising tbh, considering the damage I did.

And I'm banned till my birthday. Help me stay on track, please!

Omg , I want to jump into your closet and play. So many new fabulous bags and other goodies. The fact that you came back with money left over is amazing.

I accounted the VAT refund into my budget lol. the intention was to spend all our GBP in duty free to take advantage of the prices and not worry of exchanging the currency, but I didn't want to buy anything i didn't like initially.

So that's how I ended up with money left over lol. I'll exchange it later when the rate is better, and it'll go towards my Mon Mono. :)

But I'm so thrilled. I can't wait to have everything laid out and entered into stylebook for outfits!

The last two days were competition days and my little dooney was fantastic. It has more room than a wristlet but it is almost the size of one. So if you are looking for a small bag for those places you just do not want to take your more precious bags, you might want to check out the nylon small barrel bag from Dooney & Bourke. I only paid 59.00 dollars at tj maxx for it. The little thing even has a zip pocket where I put my keys to keep from scratching both of my glasses. The slip pocket I put score sheets. The only thing within I did not use was the key leash. I am even happier because it fits with my clutches and wristlets and does not take up space in my handbag area. Sorry the rant it is just so rare that something works out this well.

Sukey is possibly one of my favorite bags! Reminds me I need to take her out... Maybe she'll be next in rotation? :)

I'll definitely need everyone to scold me if I stray off track haha.

I got a few items at duty free. Most of it was gifts to DBF for the year, since he got my clic H. But I got one thing at LV. There's a story to that though. Haha. Lemme go open it.

I am hopelessly behind. It's busy time for me so my apologies for not quoting everyone and welcome to all those that recently joined this thread.

Here's the Riley and the rest of my Coach collection. There's at least one wristlet, maybe two, missing, but most of it is here.

Thanks for the welcome. :)

Great collection.

There was a question about closets by TejasMama. I actually spent a good part of yesterday sorting my closet. One of my issues with both clothes and bags is out of sight, out of mind. So I wanted to make sure I could see everything so I could make sure to wear and use everything. I cleared out a bunch of clutter that was making half the closet difficult to access, I repurposed a piece of furniture from the room and I rearranged some stuff. It's not perfect, but I'm a lot happier with it and I'm hoping it's going to function a little better for me.

As you can see, I took a tall media cabinet I had in the room and turned it on its side so that I have a table and a little extra storage. I had stacked some containers there before and it created a small surface to put things on, and I discovered I really liked having that there. Wasn't really sure if I was brilliant or inviting disaster with the cabinet solution, but it seems to work.

That clear plastic drawer on the right has my camis and tank tops in it, a solution I was pleased to discover via Google since it saves some hangers and hanging space. The basket in the middle has my wristlets. And the left end has some sweaters that the instructions specifically say not to hang. Both of those still have tags on them, so they're on my list to make sure to wear this year.

And of course you see some of my bags on the bottom shelf and up on the top of the closet. The box on the top shelf has the bags that can lay flat (ie Coach Bleecker Daily) and 2 MK minis.

And some of my shoes. My boots are on the floor on the other side of the closet. Still haven't really found a good solution for those.

Also, I have a LOT of clothes. The closet is getting close to full already and I still have a whole laundry load's worth of clothes to put in there.

Great idea to repurpose the cabinet.

I think you are doing a great job organizing. I found I could add space by using plastic cubes that I that can fit two or three bags in them and on top of them . I put these cubes on the top shelves in my closet. The ones that go on top of the cubes and bit harder to reach are right now the summer bags. This system works well for me.

Your cube are a great idea.

I just did a collection reveal under bag show case in the general handbag forum and also the LV forum under bad reflection. You should check it out! The other is my well rounded content bag collection.

I'll have to check it out.

bakeacookie, so pretty! The color of the Hermes bag is just beautiful!

I'm three weeks off shopping today - yay! I had a real challenge this morning when a Coach bag I had really wanted went on sale. Two things helped me to say no and move on:

1. I read on a blog (I forget which one now!) recently that intense feelings like fear, anger, desire, etc, only tend to remain at maximum intensity for about a minute. If you can spend that minute trying to calm yourself down (deep breathing) or even just resisting stress activities (for me, eating or shopping), you can get yourself through the worst of it.

2. I really wanted the Coach bag because I think it's beautiful, and I don't think I'm beautiful right now. A lot of my shopping reflects this impulse - buy something that I think will mask my lack of beauty or happiness. The next time that I buy fashion items, I want to feel beautiful before I have them, not *because* I have them. The only way to get to that point is to get myself healthier, inside and out!
