i've been wanting a cobalt blue/bright blue bag for quite some time, so i'm happy i finally filled that gap!

After a major closet and general purge in the Spring I am working on letting go of some more bags. I'm being pretty ruthless this time, and I actually feel good about it!

i've been eyeing the MG royal bucket bag (regular size or mini) for almost a year? i finally managed to get one when they relaunched their website in dec. so far, so good!

thanks, dcooney! it's super light. i think it's the lightest bag i own (aside from a le pliage, which isn't leather). that was part of the reason why i wanted one. i'm sick of lugging around heavy bags and so is my shoulder/neck.

Maybe I should also make a spreadsheet of my bags?? I keep on delaying this. Maybe I'm afraid to discover that I have a long list and a big total?? Lol!

You're cute! I purchased from Amazon it's the PurseN Purse Organizer. I'll snap some shots for you. It's the best thing ever! Not only that it keeps the inside of your bags clean. It goes from my Speedy 30 to my Siracusa to my Artsy!

I've been searching for the perfect gray bag for years now. To me, a gray bag is like a nude pump - the perfect shade is different for everyone and just as hard to find (at least for me!). I love the gray in the borough but sadly as much as I love the borough, the style doesn't work for me =(

It's funny u say this cuz I was thinking this morning howthe firstweek feels so slow and I feel restless with my bag aand want to keep switching. Every year without faail, the first week is the hardest. It's ok

LVk8 I love ur Sukey!!!! It is a perfect gray, even for me! Butwhile the Sukey was a want of mine for yrs, I couldn't justify buying one until I got more use out of my pelham. I'll enjoy it through u!

thank you for sharing all of the pics! i'm the type that currently uses multiple pouches so i just move all of my pouches from purse to purse. maybe an organizer would be easier? i have diff sized pouches, depending on the bag i'm using.

i don't remember who was asking about the spreadsheet, but it's the only way i can keep track of things - purchase cost, date of purchase, where purchased, method of purchase (cc, paypal, etc), name/season/style of bags, new/preowned, misc comments, etc. I include my SLGs on the sheets as well. i have a "currently own" sheet and "sold/no longer own" sheet with subtotals (and yes, the subtotals are scary to look at!). but keeping the spreadsheets are a good way for me to re-evaluate things and helps jog my memory (since i have a bad memory).

The last two days were competition days and my little dooney was fantastic. It has more room than a wristlet but it is almost the size of one. So if you are looking for a small bag for those places you just do not want to take your more precious bags, you might want to check out the nylon small barrel bag from Dooney & Bourke. I only paid 59.00 dollars at tj maxx for it. The little thing even has a zip pocket where I put my keys to keep from scratching both of my glasses. The slip pocket I put score sheets. The only thing within I did not use was the key leash. I am even happier because it fits with my clutches and wristlets and does not take up space in my handbag area. Sorry the rant it is just so rare that something works out this well.

Funny I keep a spreadsheet too! It puts things into perspective! Maybe you should try the organizer to see if it makes things easier for you. They come in different color and I believe you can get a size bigger.

I'm home!

And apparently once home I wake up at my normal 4am time. Or I have really bad jet lag. Not sure.

Pic from Christmas unboxing! It's so vibrant and soft.


Then the next day was Boxing Day, so I went through the madness at Longchamp and picked up these two.


And my lovely Burberry bag that accompanied me throughout my trip. It did so well and if anyone needs a small sized crossbody that fits a water bottle, camera, full sized bottle of Tylenol, hand sanitizer, phone, and a battery pack, this fits the bill. My pocket agenda wallet fit perfectly inside the zipped pocket, which gave me extra security. The slip pockets held my glasses cleaning cloth and fitbit, the other with an iPhone cable and battery charge pack.


I picked up sooo much stuff. It's insane.

Ferragamo got me, at the U.S. duty free! I picked up a hair clip.
Then the Ferragamo sales at New Bond Street landed me a pair of flats and the cutest mini bag keychain. (I'm liking mini bags. Sooo tempting to collect them)




Chanel!
The items at Chanel New Bond Street sale didn't appeal much to me.
So I picked up a brooch and a tie for DBF. We didn't even know they made ties!


And I also had a little fun at duty free. Though a bummer part was that I didn't know you could only claim your VAT 4 hours prior to your flight so I didn't get as much shopping time as I thought in duty free.

Though I haven't unboxed those yet. Haha. Got some little things at Mulberry, LV, and Burberry.

Still have some British pounds left. Lol. Surprising tbh, considering the damage I did.

And I'm banned till my birthday. Help me stay on track, please!
