2015 resolution - shopping from my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

I think the camellia is $2,100 in USD. The boy woc is $2,400 and the one with the big CCs in caviar is less. Maybe $1,900 but don't quote me. I haven't been on the Chanel threads for a while and can't remember the prices after the last price increase. Some one correct me if I am wrong. Good luck!

So, it is Jan 3rd, and I am awaiting a number of packages to be delivered by DHL...

One contains a woolen hat for DH (around christmas he will not go to a store), one is a pair of black boots with a thick rubber sole. We have lots of cobblestone streets here, and I have ruines more soles and heels than I can count on these streets... Then there is a new pair of black pumps for the office and last but not least another bag, but one that I have been contemplating for a while: a BV pillow bag.

Except for the hat all items were bought on sale and budgeted for. Still I feel a bit overwhelmed by the idea of 4 boxes that the poor DHL guy will deliver to my doorstep...

I'm a bad girl as soon as it comes to storing my bags. It is the out of my sight out of my mind system... I put them all in their dustbags, I stuff them and then some sleep on the bottom of my closet or on its top, some are packed in an old suitcase under my bed, some hang (in their dustbags) behind my bedroom door, one stands at the moment between two cupboards, the newest addition hasn't found its place already and Miss Alexa sits on my old sofa so I can admire her. You see I'm a mess. I should also work on storing my bags.

I keep them in their dustbags/ boxes. I've seen a transparent display cabinet in IKEA - I'd really like to store my bags in something (safe and away from nosy cats) that I can admire them in, if that makes sense. I've always thought of them, Chanel in particular, as portable works of art and it would be nice to show them off as such

DBF has restricted me to one major purchase this year, considering I had just bought my Evelyne, and that I had said I would be good and start saving for a wedding and for more trips.

Considering that this will be my major purchase of the year, which would you choose?

I would go for a WOC - personally I think the camellia is very pretty, feminine and understated. Are you still in London? Buying it here?

AmorNchanel - I do the same thing with the cubes on the top shelves ,bit since the cubes are hard I end up with more room on top of the cubes as well as in the cubes. I also have a little tiny ikea bench mean't for shoes that holds my better bags in a different spot.
I love these storage questions . It gives me more ideas to improve how I use things. How do you all store your spare wallets and slgs?
I used to keep them stacked in one of those sweater holders that you hang in the closet with shoes in the bottom part and wallets in the top. Then every time I pulled one out a few would fall, so I rarely changed my wallet. Some were kept in boxes and I would forget I even had them.
Now I use an empty LV bag box and store them standing. It make it so easy to switch up and I can see them at a glance. I got this idea from last years thread.

The chanel's are lovely but I think you will get more use out of the speedy B. The english clutch you have is barely used because it is too small and for fear of damaging it if it is over stuffed. You have been wanting the Mon mono for a long time and if you are still loving it I would go with that.
I know I wanted the totally for a long time and said if it comes out in damier ebene, I would buy it. I almost bought something else instead but with your help I stuck to what I really wanted and couldn't be happier. Wish I had done this years ago with other bags.

I am still in London until Wednesday.
I am debating on buying it here or just waiting. Maybe I should just look for another brooch and just be happy with what I've already bought during this trip.

True. The British clutch I have is such a pain to use, definitely not easy to use but it was super cute. The WOC doesn't seem as bad as the Aspinal Brit clutch.

DBF pointed out that I rarely change wallets nowadays, so would I really change between the WOC and my ZCP? (Which I kinda miss, my travel wallet is very different from the ZCP).

Basically my only chance to find a WOC is tomorrow and Monday. So it looks like my chances of finding one I like is minimal now. Hence the frantic debating. But if I don't get one now, it's not like they're not available back home, it just happens to be "cheaper" here.

i would buy the WOC. your recently purchased Evelyne serves the same purpose as the Speedy B. think of your collection and see what is missing. will the WOC fill in a gap that other bags you have won't fill? do the same for the Speedy B. have fun and good luck!

Gorgeous! Man, with all these channels, I better not wander into the Chanel clubhouse - I have made a point to stay away from there haha. Sorry to hear the Prada was disappointing, but glad you were able to sell it.

I store them in their dustbags with stuffing, upright, and then my clutches are lined up along a shelf, also stuffed and in dustbags if available. I fold my nylon bags and I will fold some totes, depending on design and material, just because I am running out of room. I try not to put anything on top of a bag but if I dont' have enough room, I'll throw a light bag along a more structured one - I've stacked a bag on top of this KS one because she's so sturdy, but I do try to avoid it.

thank you eggtartapproved! i love chanel and i initially wanted to stay away from the chanel forum but i knew that like a diet, it won't work if i practice too strictly i will take it one step at a time. i told my boyfriend (and that's a big step!) that i will limit my chanel spending on SLGs but only for items that i need and have planned to buy anyway (maybe a kisslock too ). i visit the chanel forum to look and i enjoy just looking. i hope it stays this way.

btw, i was at my local chanel boutique to check out the sale and to wish the crew a happy new year. i am so proud of myself that i did not end up buying two boots that caught my attention. i only bought a small card holder and a bottle of perfume. i am feeling happy about myself

Thanks everyone for the KS love. First day back in the office for the New Year - I don't have much to put in it today since it's a short day, so it's going well haha. The saffiano will definitely hold up well with this weather we're getting - too bad it doesn't zip close.

Yes, you can do it! This is one of the best thread ever. Your boy is stunning ❤️❤️❤️. I will just live my boy dreams vicariously through you. I still love Chanel but have learned to restrain myself this past year. Admittedly, I did refocused my funds elsewhere instead so I didn't really save. This year, I will try and do more saving and put it toward an upcoming remodeling project. 😃

Yeah bag twins yes my LCs see a lot of use at this time of year.

I keep mine stuffed in their dust bags on shelves just for bags. I have the ikea pax system and really like it. If you intend to keep them on a top shelf, I used to use these shelf dividers to section off the self in order to the bags more organized. Something to think about. Here's a pic I found on the net.
