2010 Canard?

Canard was the color I was most looking forward to, but seeing these pictures, I don't really like them that much. I was hoping more Ink or Officier.

Hi,ladies, you are welcome. I think the canard giant first at bal.com looks better than these pics. I hope the canard irl looks as navy blue mixed green, don't hope it looks too dark as black.

After a recent discussion here on the PF, I talked to a friend who was holding a city with SGH in her hands and had her describe it. To her eyes, despite what the swatch may look like, it did not look black or darker than officer, probably not quite as dark as officer. At least, different, with some tinge of teal in it. I sort of hope this is how it turns out.

Thanks for sharing! In all of the Canard pics I've seen so far, the leather looks very smooth. I was hoping for more distressing. Keeping my fingers crossed...

I was in Bal SCP today and looked at the Canard swatch. It's, to my eyes, a very deep dark teal. Lots of green in it! I held it next to my Ink, and that really emphasized the green in Canard and the purple in the Ink. The Canard is not dark enough to look black though, except in the dimmest lighting.

^^ Agree with you, seventwentynine... the more distressed the leather is, the more likely I will fall in love with it.

I do love the colour from what I can see in the shots, though.

My bet is Bal will do another dark blue within the year: navy is popping up everywhere in clothes, and for those who prefer their navy blue bluer-than-green/teal, I am sure there will be one coming up.
