I was a little disappointed at first but it grew on me. Showing the comparisons and my bag below. Managed to help my friend get another beige a week after too after she saw mine and wanted one. Hers came a bit more matte and I even brought mine down to do a comparison before she picked it up (the colour code is exactly the same) Which one do you guys prefer?

I am expecting a text confirming I got this any day now and I cannot WAIT! I wouldnt have even noticed a "shiny" finish if you hadn't said anything!

How future are we talking? Should I text everyone now? Lol I feel like I was asking for this one a in November and December before release and it was already all taken. By January it was impossible. And then when I got my red CF hoping that purchase would get me in, it was definitely already all reserved or "There's no reserves anymore. It's 1st come 1st serve."--but not really.

I say yes now because there’s a roll over list. Well maybe next week when launch slows down? I’m not sure timeframe but I’m definitely thinking this year. I will ask my SA tomorrow. She told me yesterday when I inquired about it. She said this “so black” will be similar to the caramel rereleases.

The reserve things are weird. I’ve been able to reserve at my NM but my standalone took away my reserve privileges last year due to a new “policy” that doesn’t allow clients to reserve anymore! However, once my standalone SA rang up my stuff yesterday she “oh you are now a preferred client so you can reserve. Just let me know what you want for upcoming seasons. We don’t offer this privilege to every client.” I said “oh, I got upgraded?” She laughed and said yes. Was it because I’ve started buying jewelry and shoes? A bag every month? Because she likes me? I have no idea but apparently they actually can reserve.

Congrats on the upgrade! How exciting and dangerous. I made 2 purchases last month and was surprisingly able to reserve my red CF at the SA Flagship in NYC and it amazingly came the next day. I have coco crush on my mind but I don't want to spend money JUST to spend money. I guess it's a bit hard for me to shop Chanel nowadays since I love shopping, in store, in person, versus online and sight unseen. The adrenaline of hunting and securing a bag can't be beat though.

Thanks! I think? :lol: I personally like shopping in store also! I have two local SAs and one in the next city over that I purchase from. I understand about spending just to be spending. I’m only buying what I want and will use, not in hopes of getting something in return at all. Hunting and securing is super fun lol
