Joining the Chanel club in general with my first purchase today! A week after being put on a waitlist, my SA texted me this morning and I am now the owner of a small, black lamb skin 19. It’s so cute, but I don’t know what to do with it now that I have it haha

Congratulations!! I know exactly how you feel. There is so much time and energy spent into researching and securing a bag and once you have it, sometimes it’s a weird feeling of having nothing else to do except use it! I find that buying a bag organizer and random accessories for my bags always keeps the excitement going once I’ve purchased a bag.
I have a samorga organizer in mine, and I put in tissue paper (I just use the tissue that came with the bag) then the strap in the bag and more tissue on top of that. I wrap the top handle in tissue paper too then store it in it’s dust bag standing up

First one on the waitlist for this beauty! Love the rainbow lacquered HW and the tie dye! Really makes it unique! I took these pics in natural light because artificial light does not do it justice...but I will attach one just to compare. For reference, I am 5’3 (1.6 meters) and weight 105 lbs (47 kg)
What are your thoughts on whether the 19s are now classic chanels here to stay or not? I purchased 3 over the last year or so (eeeek) and I still love them, but I hear some people are over it. I do see a lot on the re-sale market. Thoughts, anyone?
I don’t think the 19 is going anywhere yet. Especially with the pandemic still going on people are still dressing way more casual than normal. so the 19 is probably still best suited for this type of lifestyle. Plus I just ordered a tweed 19 so I’m definitely hoping it doesn’t suddenly becomes not trendy and unpopular.

The tweed will be lovely ! Congrats. I wear black mostly now in winter. But mostly my 20s beige in all other seasons!

I am looking into purchasing this bag. I love the look of it! Can someone who has had this bag over maybe a year let me know how its holding up? Are the corners sagging or losing its shape? Thats the only thin thats holding me back from purchasing. I know its eventually going to sag, but I just want to know how much and how well it hold up. Thanks!

I have mine just about at a year a 20s light beige lambskin and i wore it as my daily bag pretty much the entire time. It has worn extremely well no corner wear, color transfer or sagging. The strap has molded to my shoulder it never slides off. It’s the most comfortable, roomy and easiest bag I’ve owned. I hope it sticks around once you own one you get the appeal. I hate wearing flaps now they’re so cumbersome. I just got the caramel one too i can’t wait till it relaxes like this one...
Just got my Tye Dye Chanel 19 thanks to @nat74 posting about it in the Store Stock thread! Such a gorgeous bag. Especially in natural daylight, it really pops!
