Yes, I agree! I think that, in small doses every once in a while, it can have a kind of charm about it. However, I think I just see too many at once and my head gets fogged up! :p

I agree. I thought first few I saw were cute, although not for me. But now I see them everywhere--I work with a lot of middle aged suburban women. We have 2 identical lunch bags in the refrigerator at work.

CT and LA

Michael Kors EVERYWHERE. Wow. I'm fresh out of college and in the past few years the amount of MK bags on campus has increased exponentially... I can't justify this obsession. The bags are okay but nothing to write home about in terms of looks and that combined with the hordes of people carrying them has compelled me to stay far, far away from the brand.

Longchamp Le Pliage is super common too, but I can understand why. It's so lightweight and durable and looks great even if it is common + super affordable :)

In terms of higher end brands, I see LV a lot, Neverfull in particular. And lots of Celine when you get into affluent areas- these observations are limited to LA where I'm working now... a lot less of those designer bags to be seen in my college town haha

In the San Francisco area, I see:

- LV Neverfulls in different prints and sizes
- Longchamp nylon bags
- Chanel flaps
- LV Speedies in different prints and sizes
- Variety of larger Balenciagas
- Chanel WOCs
- LV Galliera, mostly in mono
- Celine Phantom
- various Coach
- Birkins

NYC:

1. Michael Kors
2. Michael Kors
3. Michael Kors
4. A fun game to play on subways or walking in the street is “how many Michael Kors bags will I see today?”
5. LV (real and fake)
6. Chanel (real and fake)
7. More LV for good measure
8. No name brands
9. Michael Kors
10. Did I mention Michael Kors?

I used to see tons of Coach but haven’t seen as much of it recently. Sometimes I’ll see something different (saw a YSL SDJ in a store and a Celene on a subway), but I mostly see LV and Michael Kors

wait..did you see Michael Kors?:p:laugh:

spent a day at Disneyland and area...MK everywhere...

Where I am:

1. LC Le Pliage (original and the inspired version)
2. LV NF (authentic and knockoffs)
3. Bonia, Sembonia, Braun Buffel (local brands)
4. No name bags, mostly cross body
If I go to the most famous luxury mall here:
5. Coach Coach Coach (especially the signature line)
6. Balenciaga (mostly City)
7. Prada saffiano totes
8. Chanel flaps
9. MbMJ
10. Kate Spade

MK is only now starting to make its influence felt, I anticipate similar landscape as most tpf'ers experienced in their own cities in the next year.
Surprisingly Speedys are rarely seen. Another reason why I got mine even though I [emoji173]️ my NF!

I live in a very small city. The only known branded store here is Coach.

So I see a lot of Coach. Apart from Coach.....

I see A LOT of LV (authentic n fake). Especially LV NF.

Too much Longchamp Totes!

Gucci bags.

MK is catching up.

Of course Local brands as well.

I've only seen H Birkin 3/4 times lol. Real Chanel only once a while.

I have wide varieties of brand in my collection. A lot of friends n other people I bumped into don't even know those brand. Or they heard the brand name....but didn't know what bags I carried. A stranger once commented on my Lady Dior...."nice bag! Must have cost more than 100 huh? I just nodded lol. [emoji23]

I'm in the UK. I live in a capital city and what you would see here is:
1. Michael Kors
2. Michael Kors
3. Michael Kors
4. Michael Kors
5. Michael Kors
6. Longchamp Le Pliage
7. Kate Spade
8. Paul's Boutique
9. Mulberry
10. Fossil

What you would not see: anything from
Louis Vuitton
Chanel
Dior
Gucci
Versace
Celine
balanciaga
Prada
D&G

Not even fakes.

It's literally the most boring place in the world. None of the designers have boutiques up in this capital city. Like the most designer you can get is Mulberry, Longchamp and Lulu Guiness. Coach doesn't exist here.

I live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia & when i go out to the mall for instance, i see a whole lot of:

1. Louis Vuitton
2. Michael Kors
3. Coach
4. Chanel
5. Prada
6. Longchamp
7. Kate Spade
8. Gucci
9. Burberry
10. Guess

There are a lot of convincing fakes here in my country but i still manage to differenciate them (or so i think i did 😂).

And you dont usually see:

1. Hermes
2. Fendi
3. Dior
4. Balenciaga
5. Celine
6. Miu Miu

I live in Toronto and depending on the location, it differs...the more 'upscale' locations around here you will see everyone carrying LV and Chanels but lately I have been noticing a lot of Hermes Birkins too. In the core downtown area, most people carry Longchamp or Michael Kors.

Just popping in to report that, out for pizza this evening, I saw (all in the same casual restaurant in Tampa, Florida):

-Chanel Jumbo Flap, black caviar w/ SWH
-LV Neverfull
-LV Eva Clutch
-Givenchy Antigona
-a Valentino Rockstud bag of some sort; not exactly sure of the name
-small Le Pliage
-Michael Kors, of course - about 4 of these

. . . plus my Balenciaga. And these are just the bags that were close enough for me to ID. Who knows what other gems were being taken out for pizza this evening??

More to the point of this thread, I'd say in my area, LV is the most prolific brand, or maybe it's just the one I notice the most. Women are wearing the HELL out of Tory Burch flats and flip-flops, though.
