hahah...talking about Singapore and its LV craze...I was so embarrassed carrying my speedy mono there as it was the only bag I brought over for my 4-day trip. Everyone was carrying LV... can't they carry something else???? there are soooo many other bags I'd die for :shame:

In my area, people mainly have walmart/zellers purses and coach (dunno if most are fake or not, I can only tell if they're the really awful fakes). Theres a lot of Guess as well.

Sometimes I'll see a fake Louis Vuitton but its rare.

Once I saw a lady with a real Michael Kors purse. It was pretty. Nobody has Chanel or Hermes or anything really classy.

For NYC I would agree it varies by area... I'm in midtown the most... I see tons of Coach, LV, and Longchamp Pliage. The Vera Bradley duffles seem to be really popular with Manhattanites who are traveling back to Westchester or CT for the holidays (seems every single person in Grand Central Station has one before a holiday weekend!)

I also see a lot of MJ (both MJ and Marc by Marc) and Nine West... and a fair amount of Kate Spade.

medium size mid west city, I see COACH , siggies, real and fake, more than anything. around here, if you see LV, it's fake. many vera bradleys, they love them. Not for me . I have heard many times, "Why would anyone spend more tha 35$ on a purse", really. If I want anything more expensive than Coach, which I can get at local Dillards, I have to order online or ebay, or go to Chicago, a ways away, once a year.(thats fun tho!)
