Poshmark has terrible customer service and no real quality control. I am sure that they weed out obvious fakes that are over $700 but that’s about It. What bothers me the most is that they allow so many replicas to be sold on the site that are listed as replicas in the description. I report these posts all the time and they very rarely get taken down. I still use the app because I have gotten some amazing bargains but I am willing to put a lot of time into research. I would never buy something there that cost a lot because I don’t trust that they would accept the return. Same goes for Vestiaire Collective - they train people to “authenticate” any luxury item and no one is necessarily an expert in specific brands.

I am so unbelievably sorry for this situation. It doesn't matter to me how popular the so called " pre loved" market. I absolutely will never purchase from any of these sites. I will only purchase online or directly at the bontique.

The problem is that unless you're always buying brand new and current items, you can't always shop directly from the boutique or the company's online site.

Many people buy vintage or even items that may not be vintage but are no longer available from the manufacturer. They have to buy from the pre-owned market.
