Pay for what you can see and if you can't see the difference, get the bigger one, cos you can definitely see that!

With T&Co diamonds, you cant really tell colour unless you hold one up next to it, but you're only getting one. Either way it'll be beautiful!

What kind of wedding band are you thinking of getting?

Reason I asked: my e-ring is a Tiff's H & I was happy about it until DF got me Tiff's Embrace wedding band which diamonds are E-F :shocked: I am still in love with my e-ring & my man but now I can see a tint of yellow on e-ring whenever I try to wear them both :-s

So maybe try on some wedding bands too while you're at it & see if I diamond bothers you when paired with the wedding band of your preference?

Kind of a off topic question, to the members with the classic Tiffany Setting, why did you choose it over the Harmony setting? Does the Tiffany setting stick out more, so it’s easier to get scratched? Thanks!

I tried on the Harmony when we were lookin at rings, and while the Harmony was so comfortable, I preferred the knife edge and 6-prong setting of the classic Tiffany setting. Seemed more delicate. I like how the diamond is lifted higher off the band. However, it is low set for a prong setting, so I got used to it quickly. Minimal scratches!

Hi all
I finally decided on a 1.27 H that I love. It has so much sparkle and I can’t see even a hint of yellow in it. Thank you for all the helpful comments. Happy New Year everyone!

Here’s a pic ....

Congrats! Your ring is beautiful! Just curious, was clarity of the ring in your consideration too? My SA is telling me to choose clarity over Color for my new ring..

Thank you! It’s VS2 - the clarity was the one thing that I was always certain about. I didn’t want to spend extra for something that I would need a 10x loupe to see. You can’t see inclusions with the naked eye in a VS2 and I didn’t see the need to go a grade higher than that. If you keep the clarity at VS1 or VS2 then you have more of your budget to spend on colour and carat which are the two Cs that are visible with the naked eye. You don’t need to worry about cut because with Tiffany that is guaranteed to be triple excellent. Best of luck with your decision and congratulations on your engagement!
