great red pics. i always had trouble figuring out the diff between grenat and bordeaux, but these pics really show it well. but i think ruby is a very hard color to capture for some reason, and rt also. they look very different in different lights. mind you, i've never seen rt irl...

^^bordy is just one tone deeper than grenat is. I love them both though. I agree with you Ruby is nearly impossible to capture on camera/screen. It always washes out or looks way more "hot" then it really is.

What do you mean by hot, beaux? Some photos of ruby appear like a deep vibrant red, when IRL the color doesn't have a lot of depth in terms of tone. It's a saturated red, yes, but in some lighting the color appears flat.

Incredible pics. Thank you, andy_sach! I'm not normally a red person, but these pics make me REALLY want one. I've been wondering how they compare. And here they are all spelt out in these AMAZING pics. Just stunning photography. Now to figure out which one will suit me best...and where to find it!

I was looking at the 08 Ruby WE after our prior talk about red WE but I am just not convinced by the leather and color. 08 leathers I have seen just look dry and feels thin in my hands... its prolly just me tho.

But 05 RT I can just imagine, leather like my black WE in a that shade of red. Oyay~

^^I have a ruby We with lovely leather, but I have seen other WE's with bad leather leather, so I know what you mean.

^^ i've noticed that ruby varies a lot in the leathers for some reason. i've seen mostly great ones - soft and saturated - but one that was a bit veiny for my taste. still a great color, and even the veiny ones might wear in just fine.
