Can anyone tell me about the Metallics - I believe there was something about the tags being different. Would metallic bags have silvertags? Or only metallic-leather tags? I hope someone can help me out here, TIA!

Yep, the metallics have silver-plates on top of the metallic leather tag. I have 04 Pewter Mini Twiggy, and maybe 05 ones have shiny silver-plates, but 04 ones have PEWTER silver-plates...to match the pewter hardware.

I've been wondering for a while now and someone please correct me if I'm wrong. The Pewter that has like a rose tinge to it - the lighter colored one from the holiday collection not the darker one from the 2005 metallic collection. Is this how the hardware goes?

- 2004 Holiday Pewter has pewter hw
- 2005 Holiday Pewter has shiny silver hw

I can only speak for 04 Pewter, since I don't have 05 Pewter. But mine(04 Pewter Mini Twiggy) has PEWTER HW, not shiny hardware.

From the pics, it looks like 05 pewter has shiny hardware.

The 04 metallics have matching color hardware as the leather (which some people have complained about the chipping). The 05 metallics have the shiny silver hardware - which is what Balenciaga has been doing to most of their non-leather moto line.

I love the bronze and pewter... I didn't realize Balenciaga had made so many metallics. I love that they're a little muted and not the mirrored metallics that seem to be really popular right now.

Does anyone have a comparison photo of a 2004 pewter as compared to a 2005 pewter? (where the bags are sitting side by side) I have searched on PF, and I haven't located one yet - I'm probably just missing it, but I have looked for about an hour now, and can't locate it - if anyone knows where one is, I would appreciate it!
