Hi guys. I just bought the bag to end all bags!
Been wanting a MC Speedy for a while. Nakolulu and I have been trying to decide if we should get white or black. White or black...Agh! White, as feminine, soft and pretty as it looks, isn't actually going to hold up in the long run, with me anyway. I can't get a bag that I'll be afraid to use, where's the fun in that. Plus I've read all the sad stories about yellowing canvas, bleeding linings, so I turned to black...The colors definitely have more punch than the white, which I love. It looks so vibrant! I don't see very many folks carrying the black either. And IMO, I think it looks a bit more sophisticated and edgy.
So black it was. It totally grew on me. So much so that I took a chance and went to Neiman's last week and asked to see their black mc speedies. The first color combo was eh, not so great; too much blue. Then my SA pulled out the other one and...aaaaaaa! That hot pink LV in the middle! OMG that's THE ONE!!! I'll take her!!! And so, here she is. My queen of the LV family. I cannot stop looking at her, she is my IT bag. And so worth every red cent.
P.S. I put the tPF charm on a black elastic string from a hangtag and I think it blends in a bit better
