The order from Ala Moana is just earrings, maybe why the SA does't seem to care (although I just bought a bag from her last week). After telling me she doesn't have that information about their status and telling her how unacceptable that is, I guess now she miraculously confirmed they are still shipping orders, that was the ONLY question I asked her in the first place before the 1-3 word responses......but I digress.

This has been a good Chanel year and we have a bag from every season in 2020 and not going to let this debacle of the earring order to ruin that. Just happy (and nervous) for the order today, these are one of the colors you have to see in person but looked incredible in picture, although even those were limited because ordered pre lease

Can I ask you who your SA is?
I honestly have no SA at the Houston boutique although I go to it the most bc the service (IMO) is subpar. I have yet to find one that is helpful beyond me buying what they have in stock while I’m already in the store

I have the v tote and I love it—it definitely is a little busy, but I love that you can match it with anything since there is both brown and black. The warm cognac color of the handles is beautiful! But really, either choice is a winner!

Love a good vintage hunt! You have to click around on the site for a live link but the site is dated 2020, yes hopefully the same company. By the size of the Tano thread they certainly were popular. It looks like they have had a good run, very popular in the 50s & 60 too.

Great advice! Yes what I’ve noticed is Chanel is still experiementing with the gabrielle. The new medium size is different than the older one. The reissue however is the same and is a classic. Plus it seems because of the materiel of the gab on the bottom- people are getting fed up and selling. Some even within months! I figure the 226 is holding its value almost like a classic flap but not quite there yet.

The headshot turned out really nice!
Make-up was applied kind of heavy which was good because photographer used a lot of lights.
False eyelashes were applied in addition to mascara - my first experience with these. Excellent look.
I am really pleased, thank you all for your help.

Need some help please. I purchased a recycled coach slim zip wallet & it reeks horribly of a man's cologne. Things I have tried for more than four months are...Putting it in the freezer for weeks wrapped in newspaper with baking soda in a zip-lock bag, I put it in a box with newspaper, baking soda & odor remover bags, have washed it three times in cold water after spraying it with Nature's Miracle, hung it outside for several days & nothing is pulling that stink out of there. It has been sitting in a box wrapped in newspaper, with activated charcoal inside the wallet & a must/odor removed bag on top it its for several weeks now. It still stinks...HELP please!!! Thank you

I have this bag and haven't used it yet for work because Covid 19. So unfortunately, I can't advise on wear and tear but will be interested in what others say. I am afraid of it getting scratched up though as I've heard that Epi leather can be prone to this. But for me the epi slg I've had and used for over 15 years is still going strong.

Last time I went to the store I requested to see multiple bags to choose the best one.. but the SA was so rude about it. And every flaw I pointed out she did not “see”. Customer service is so bad at Chanel

I’m barely 5’ and have the MM. it definitely works. I actually wish it was a tad bigger since I wanted an oversized bag but the GM was just too ginormous on me.

I generally don’t like masculine bags and have never bought one. I wouldn’t like all bags to be grouped under bags because some stores show me 2000+ when I say show all and need inspiration. That’s sometimes too many and on occasion I give up. If that doubled I wouldn’t even start a search and shops may miss out on a sale.

At the moment I would imagine there are more people seeking separate gender bags than there are people seeking all bags which is why shops still have the distinction.

You are so kind--thank you!! I completely agree, I think the hammered gold would be beautiful to stack with down the line. The Carnelian, too! In fact, my SA was wearing the Onyx and Carnelian 5 Motifs stacked with a yellow gold Perlée bangle and the combo looked incredible on him. Needless to say my wish list is growing in record time lol.
