I used to love the mpa and wanted one soooo badly ( but not enough to pay $3500+ to a reseller) but lately I'm thinking it's more of a trendy bag for younger people to wear with jeans etc. Starting to think it's not something that would suit me.

Definitely sell. Get a bid with and without the strap and decide if you want the money more, or the strap more. Keeping bags that you don't use just because other people value them is not logical to me.

I do still like it, especially in summer it was a great bag because I absolutely HATE carrying a big bag when it‘s hot. I just feel like a big bag sticks to my body and makes me feel even hotter. So it was great in summer when I only carried a few things.

In winter I probably won‘t wear it as much because it can‘t carry tissues and it‘s quite cold here so my nose is always running :lol:

Now this is the most important info - PMs and BBs made prior to 2017 are all collectively defective - LV originally only had GM and MM and as the trend moved towards smaller bags, LV created BB and PM and in the process also tried to lighten up the bags as they are very heavy. They did so buy removing some of the leather layers used to create the thick tourillon leather and they used light cardboard material inside to hold the shape...this caused a disaster, as the bag bottom which is supposed to be sturdy and handle which is also supposed to very sturdy are super soft and are warping when touched or when the bag is carried. To make things worse they put the clasps for the shoulder strap on the top of the inner lining on opposite sides of the bag, and didn’t bother attaching the inner lining to the outer leather, so of course when carried, the lining pulls up and the whole bag trapezoids. Within a month the bag is completely trashed no matter how careful you are as it cannot support it’s own weight. Bags made after 2017 do not have this issue - they are completely redone and absolutely, absolutely amazing bags. Except for Galet color bags - I went through 6 and each one of them was defective (they were all brand new purchased from LV stores with my last and final try made in Sept 2020 and it was defective - see last two photos, the handle metal attachment was not sawn in properly, see how the pick of it is not aligned with the stitching, causing the decorative handle ring to go completely sideways and bag to trapezoid). This is Mattioli Puzzle Mini. It’s great and I’m now thinking about getting Small version, which is about twice the size of Mini.

I just use my old comb, but am thinking about buying a special shearling comb, might be easier. I know at some point it'll have to be dry cleaned, especially that mine is white, and I'm dreading it, so I brush religiously after every use

Hey as someone who owns the YSL envelope clutch and the Toy Lou (just purchased recently) I can vouch for the quality of YSL. I don't baby my bags but I don't abuse them either. You'll be fine if you do a wipe down and put it back in the cloth/box after each wear. Hope this helps with your confidence in the brand. I do think it's a more sophisticated brand than Gucci IMO.

Thank you! I ended up dropping by without an appointment and picked up my order. Thankfully there weren’t many people in LV so I didn’t have to wait in line.
