I second bringing it to an EXOTIC skin specialist. Python is hard to take care of, as the scales will flake off and will yellow with time. You do not want to use something that damages the leather. Even certain exotics leather conditioners change the colour of python, so be very careful.

I’ve ‘heard’ about them for years... They are a solid brand. They’ve been around since 1905.

I know what you mean. I was looking for a classic JUC in YG in size 16 on the preloved market but either it was missing the COA or no box or only a few hundred below retail so I decide just to get it from Cartier. That way I didn’t have to worry about it being authentic and I get everything that comes along with. I was also able to try on different sizes and different colors to make sure I was happy. I ended up still getting the YG but in size 15 instead. I think the JUC is a little harder to find in the resale market so it holds its value better. Overall, I’m very happy with my boutique purchase and experience.

Looks like there was another price rise this past week. I just bought two marmonts in the last week and went on a couple of days ago and they are a couple of hundred higher. Glad I got in when I did now and didn't hold out on the second when I was still debating about ordering later in the year.

I am really really trying to get my hands on a preloved lady dior since being out here in London till next year, and I cannot find anyone reputable selling them here in the UK. Overseas Sites that are selling them do not include customs and duties fees (which are usually around 400 GBP) I have tried Bagista, Luxury Promise, Designer Exchange and so far, it's just not happening as they don't have the inventory!! There HAS to be others!!!! No equivalent to Fashionphile here?

Anyway, please please give me your thoughts on whether it is worth the risk of purchase on HEWI..

What color of lady Dior are you looking for?

There's a specific thread for Identifications pinned to the top of every index page in this "main" Coach forum.

There's also a specific Authenticate This Coach thread pinned to the top of the Coach Shopping sub-forum index pages.

We don't identify bags or styles unless they've been authenticated, since fakes don't deserve Coach names and nothing can be authenticated or even identified from just a serial number. We alsways need photos especially of the creed stamp or patch and the serial number inside the bag. Please post photos and the other required information in the Authenticate thread pinned to the top of the Coach Shopping forum. Mention that it was part of an inheritance since we also require information on the source of the item. Thank you.

I'm very surprised know how Cartier sold this item "again", know that their return policy states they don't accept purchased items that's been "worn".

It sounds like Chanel isn't living up to your expectations anymore. I agree with @mrsblue, save yourself the hassle of return labels and bags not being up to par and in the future only buy after you've seen a bag.

Okay if I can do 5 I can do all from my existing collection:
- Longchamp Le Pliage Leather black tote size L (for travel and work)
- LV Pochette Metis in reverse monogram (day to evening-ish, crossbody, functional and holds everything, matches my wardrobe well)
- LV Petit Malle in silver and black Epi (evening silver bag)
- Dior Mini Miss Dior in gold (evening gold bag)
- Chanel large Boy in black (day to night bag, though I would ideally like to switch this out for a black classic flap in M/L because I think it has greater longevity than the Boy. But if switching isn’t allowed I’ll manage).

If I HAVE to keep it to 3:
- LV Grand Palais in monogram: it’s big enough to function as a work/travel bag (fits a laptop and charger, is fully zippable for security), smart enough that you CAN carry it about in the day
- Chanel small classic flap in black (day to night bag, small enough that it can work for black tie events as well)
- LV Petit Malle in silver/metallic gold Epi (for the evening - I have seen this bag, it’s a discontinued one but I know it exists!) or, alternatively, a Lady Dior in silver and gold (I have only seen this on less reputable sites though). My preference would be for the Lady Dior so I have one of each brand.

That bit about the line bracelet is a good point -- I do already have a line bracelet, with 10 pointers each (same as the fuller version). I'm not sure I could justify something so similar, since I don't even wear the line bracelet that often because I prefer something lighter! I didn't even like the DBTY with 7 stones (14 pointers) in person because it looked a bit clunky. Hmmm I'd better go and try it on. >_<

The bracelet does flip. It is light and pretty but flips. I am not sure if I shortened it more if it flip less.

I loved Kenzo's fashion when I was a teenager in the 1980's. I saved up all I had from part-time and holiday jobs and waited for the Kenzo pieces to go on super sale at The Squire Shop in Sydney. I'd even call up the Squire Shop and ask them when Kenzo was to go on sale so I could get there early with my cash ready to buy whatever I could afford, which wasn't all that much.

I've still got a few pieces packed away somewhere but one of my most worn Kenzo things back then was a pair of bright green silk pointy toe flats. They were fabulous! I adored those shoes until the time I wore them to a party and someone spilt red wine on them, which ended their useful (and beautiful) life.

One of my very early fashion obsessions. RIP Kenzo

The receipt absolutely looks legit.
It looks like the receipts you get on your email when shopping in store and then print it at home.
Louis Vuitton has not had any LV logo on their receipts in many European countries for years.

I hope the hoodie is OK, that is the most important thing
