I purchased this book tote last November for my birthday and wore it possibly a total of 5 times, with the last time being in February 2024. It has been in its dust bag in my guest room closet since. I took it out today and the top is discolored. I'm so upset as I love this print and even had the opposite side personalized with my initials. I even have the J'adore pumps in this print! I now see that this is a common issue with the tote. I'm upset because I assumed by 2023 the oxidation issue would have been rectified. This bag looks brand spanking new!


For those who have experienced this, what steps have you all taken?

I'm considering using muslin, as a cover, with comic book boards, acid free, for structure, and stuffing with acid free paper.

Muslin is used by Foster-Stevens.
Soft sided bags need structure.
Everything is white/natural.
Each custom made.


I only have Coach and Dooney and Bourke, but, I have a lot of them.

Any and all feedback welcome. Especially if I've missed something significant!

Hi ladies! I got two Lady Diors in my collection of the same colour and I was thinking is it too much owning both in the same colour?

I have Black in Lambskin with silver hardware and Black in Patent with gold hardware. Both Medium size and both vintage.

Is it too much to have both of them? Or should I let go of one and keep the other? My actual HG Lady Dior was actually a mixed of both.. Black Lambskin in Gold Hardware. Or should I just keep them both?

Hi everyone! I am very impressed with the nano speedy reviews saying that it can fit a lot so I went ahead and purchase one for myself. I got myself an empreinte bicolor nano speedy and seemed that it doesn't fit a lot? Any nano speedy owners here can confirm if the canvas ones can fit more or was it just me wanting to carry more stuff with me? TIA!

Hey All, I am thinking of getting myself a pre-owned Chanel bag for my birthday soon. Not my first purchase, I have about 15+ Chanel bags (3 classic flaps, 3 boy bags, several vintage flaps, totes, etc).

My options are:

Caviar flap in white - Way under 2800 USD but as you can see the condition, some parts of the quilts are already deflated

Filigree flap in beige color - I think the condition is great, except for some peeling on the leather straps, price is below USD 1900

These two caught my eye, but also can totally skip the purchase this month. Would love to know what you think

Are there any other ladies that love to shop AE brand jeans?
For me they aren’t too pricey and most fit me good. I do a lot of outdoor garden work and walking in parks sometimes so I need jeans that can handle getting dirty and washed often yet are comfortable. They have a great selection for all sizing, including short and tall women. Currently my favorite pairs are the low rise kick boot and skinnies. Hi Everyone! I’d love to hear your recommendations for really effective heat protectants to use on hair that’s been dried, right before using a flat iron or curling iron.

I’ve been using Bumble and Bumble Heat Shield, but my hair has gotten really dry over time and I have a lot of breakage. I only flat iron twice per week and don’t use super high heat, so I’m wondering if this product just isn’t working well enough for me.

I’d prefer something mildly scented as well, which I know rules out a lot of the products in this category. I appreciate your recommendations if you have any!

Hi! Do any mini puzzle fold tote owners use a purse liner/organizer? Which one would you recommend? I assume the organizer would have to be shorter in height so the tote can still maintain its shape.

Also, any ideas on how to make the bag more secure since there is no closure? I’ve seen people use drawstring pouches in other open tote bags but not sure if there’s one that fits the mini tote. Thanks!

The Florentine large domed satchel in Ecru is marked down
to $139 now as part of the Holiday Head Start. I know I paid more.
It's a beautiful handbag, lightweight, and roomy
without being oversized. I have a few bags from this collection,
and the leather is thinner than on a lot of my other Florentine handbags.
But, it's an easy carry and looks great and it is Florentine leather.

I’ve had great luck touching up back edges with edge kote. Has anyone had any good luck touching up more unique colors? There are quite a few different colors of edge kote, but I’m not sure how some of these (Vert menthe, Vert sauge etc) would do. I’d be open to any other brand suggestions as well. Thanks a bunch!

I placed an online order for an in-stock, small Andiamo on 10/28 and the estimated delivery date was 10/31.. It's now a full week later and my order is still stuck in "processing." Anyone else have this experience? When I called customer service for a status update they weren't able to provide a timeline. The rep I spoke with just said "your order is now in the process for shipping" as if it hasn't been stuck in that same status this entire time.

I can find various bits of information and D&B tags and understand that an A serial number and red, white and blue tags indicate that it is made in the USA, but can one verify the time period a bag was made from the tag?

The bag in question has a serial number of A1621395. I am pretty sure it means it was made since 1985, but when does that window end? 1985-2024 is a pretty wide window!

There is a lot of information in this forum about mother of pearl, specifically how delicate it can be and wear and tear. What I am trying to do is come up with a list of things to look for when purchasing my bracelet from the store. More specifically the mother of pearl stone itself. I would appreciate any and all feedback. What are some of the characteristics of MOP that I should be looking for? I have been saving for a while for this and it’s very special to me so I really want to be as informed as possible

I’ve been seeing this interesting style worn periodically and I thought it was worth discussing because I think it’s a great look once perfected. While I don’t have photos because it’s still a “new” trend, I can show the starting idea of the look and my first attempt at it. I would love to see how you all style this look too! I prefer this look styled with jeans.

In this photo the first belt is worn over the top. She could have either worn a crop top, or tucked shirt into jeans and the second belt worn in jeans belt loops.

Just got scammed by a Japanese seller on eBay. Purchased a LV side trunk PM for $3200 plus tax to find out it’s fake. Went to the store to scan the bag and of course it wasn’t reading the chip. I send a message to the seller who never responded. So I went ahead with my return. Just got a email this morning saying I was partially refunded half of the price. Seller stated the bag wasn’t in the original condition with scratch all over the bag etc.. I didn’t used this bag, I open it, went to the store to verify and put it back in the box and sent it back.
I am beyond furious that eBay let him do that. I opened a case and hope to get my full refund. I just wanted to let everyone know to be careful.

Now that the Sephora Rouge sale has started, anyone have recommendations on must buys? I've been focusing on skincare the last few years, don't know what's new with makeup.

This is a “sticky” one for me so really would appreciate some guidance. I have the opportunity to purchase a medium flap from a friend at a ridiculously low price. For reasons I won’t go into she removed the sticker off the bag. She has the box showing the serial number - I don’t think she has the card - I KNOW for a fact the bag is authentic but would like to know 1) how difficult would it be to resell if I ever wanted to and 2) can Chanel authenticate without? I have read the leather, hardware, and other details are enough but I’m not sure if today’s SA are saavy enough to be able to authenticate. Any tips/ assistance would be GREATLY appreciated- TIA!!

Just discovered this. It’s the small Parachute size but slightly taller with the leather/chain handle. Works as a double chain and as a crossbody. I like it so much better than the Small Parachute. Salt or Fondant - $4700.

Let me just start out by saying, I am expecting my 4th so I KNOW the practicality of an inexpensive diaper bag that will get filled with crumbs and whatever else.

That aside, I would like the option of using a luxury handbag for toting around things my kids will need and want something that is NOT the neverfull (because I’ve used one previously and the extreme openness and lack of zipper is an issue for me).

Has anyone used a this bag for this purpose OR own the bag and have any input? Specifically looking at empreinte, as that one has a zipper while the monogram does not.
