How to Date Dooney & Bourke bags

Hi All,

I can find various bits of information and D&B tags and understand that an A serial number and red, white and blue tags indicate that it is made in the USA, but can one verify the time period a bag was made from the tag?

The bag in question has a serial number of A1621395. I am pretty sure it means it was made since 1985, but when does that window end? 1985-2024 is a pretty wide window!

I have no clue, but I'd be interested in the answer.
You could contact Dooney customer service. They may be
able to tell (if there is a system) or look it up specifically.
