I’ve been thinking about “investing” in a classic everyday reversible designer belt (investing in quotes because I know it’s not really an investment, but I’m talking in terms of what’s worth it for my money!). I used to have a black/red reversible Ferragamo and loved it, but I sold it after I quit working because the colors no longer worked with my casual wardrobe.

Now I’m retired I pretty much just wear jeans and beach dresses, and am looking for a silver buckle reversible belt. One side definitely needs to be tan. Most makes the other side is black, and I know black is classic but I wear very little dark colors (shedding dog lol!). I don’t reach for belts often but I think that’s because I don’t like any of my current ones. And I have lost weight so now feel I can rock the high-waist/crop top look!

The Hermes also comes in the tan/black combo but I would get a TON of use of the blue side with jeans, and I have lots of blues/greens in my wardrobe.

So….is the Hermes belt worth 3X more than the Tory Burch? I can afford it…it just means my discretionary budget would be done for the rest of the year. Or get the TB to see if I actually get enough use out of a belt to justify the $$$, then can look at H for next year? Or get the “Goldilocks” version in the middle? I kinda like how the Givenchy buckle is less recognizable. Help! Any thoughts/advice or other suggestions appreciated!

Does anyone know if there will be any bag in the new color Vert Fizz soon? I saw people posting pictures of mini Kelly and Kelly Pochette. Just wonder if any other bags will be made of this color?

Also, is Vert Criquet coming back for next season? Anybody has a picture of what Vert Criquet looks like?

Dear All, i posted my used vintage chanel bag on ebay as a new seller but the very next day they indefinitely suspended my account without any explanation. It makes me think that maybe they think its fake? I did show the serial number in my photos but i dont have the dustbag nor serial card.
Any suggestion to sell my bag would be greatly appreciated. I am located in germany if this helps.

Hello! I've been contemplating my next purchase and it's so tough to decide! I really love the WG pave pendant but my friend pointed out that for the same/a little less I can get a 10 motif onyx YG necklace which is also on my list.

I think I may reach for the pave more as the 10 motif might be too dressy... but which would you get and why?

I bought a pair of the classic Dway slides and they are super uncomfortable. The front end of the "Christian dior" strap is super stiff and digs into the top of my toes when i walk. Of course, I just got them and only wore them once. Do they get more comfortable once broken in?

My husband and I are hardcore Gucci and LV fans (among other a few other brands), and we have probably 50 different receipts from the past couple of years that are just tossed in a box (in case I ever want to Poshmark anything). However, when I was cleaning up the box today, I realized that I cannot even determine what each receipt is for, and that I'm going to have to do some research on when and where we purchased something to try and piece together which receipt is for which item. This got me thinking on how I could better organize this. LV is good about putting descriptions in the receipts, but Gucci is always a vague description like "womens shoes" or "eyewear" along with the item number. Now that I have a really sizeable collection, I may be screwed on these old receipts, but going forward, what is a good way to organize these?

Just curious what everyone's experience with made to measure clothing has been. Do you have any particular brands you like?

I am built a bit short at the shoulder to breast measurement proportionally, but am otherwise normally proportioned. I can wear non-made to measure, but find that I greatly prefer made to measure when it comes to shirts and dresses.

I am looking at purchasing a white gold plain love bracelet and was wondering whether it will stay white gold forever ?
I'm just worried it will turn yellow like some white gold does.

Just bought 2 of these last week. Used the beige TWICE. I carry nothing in my bags, and when I say "used" I mean 2 hours a day for 2 days. This is all 4 attachments of the chain to the bag. Just trying to keep you guys from making the same mistake.

MY SA is awesome, taking them back immediately, horrified. So that's good, but not worth all the headache if you can avoid...

I hope someone can give me an advice.

I recently brought a Sac Souple 35 from Ebay for cheap price then sent in to LV for repair. First appointment with Care Service by phone she quoted $180 for repair of zipper, unknown for all outside vachetta, so she have me ship the bag in. Second phone call after the Atelier take a look, $1560 for zipper, vachetta and hardware. I decided that I don't need hardware to be replace, and paying that much for repair, so we agreed with zipper $280 (new price), $600 plus for outside vachetta. She asked me to approve it once we hang up. I waited next day, no price showed but I approved anyway. Two day passed, I noticed it listed as $1560 not $800 plus that we agreed to, so I immediately contact LV customer service, they then open another ticket for me. Since then, no one call me so I decided to email Care Service instead. There response I got from email is that because I reviewed and acknowledged the repair, so either NOT repair or leave as is? This is the first time that happened to me. What if the Care Service that I spoke to earlier forgot to change the repair items or the price? Should I call and speak to a manager? Should I leave as is and not pay once it done? Should I NOT repair now and try again later?

Does anyone know what might have caused the flat circle imprints on this vintage Kelly? The front is otherwise beautiful. It doesn’t bother me as it is the back of the bag- however curious to see what might have happened to her. Would spa be able to fix down the line? Thank you for any insights.

HI! I'm usually an Hermes lover and have been since i was very young...but in the early 2000s i just loved the Marc jacobs era bags, well the clothes too.... especially the extraordinarie bags.

So now that they are not as expensive on the resale market, i keep looking at them i keep longing for them, that's the truth. since I downsized a major Hermes collection, just kept my favorites ........i tend to hold back and just look at them. But this week end i saw a 2006/2007 fall winter stephen sprouse boston with leopard and gaudy gold trim. and i hit BUY, and i now have it. I have to say im so, so happy !
Since I love the the gracie in velvet, and the trompe trocadero, and the thedas o the thedas !!! and then the trianons and mirrors. So im thinking should i get them all. I wonder will they be as grand as this boston bag......... anyways just wanted to share see if any one else is yearning to buy the collection they wanted, when they were younger... and maybe,like me could not afford them...or could not find them.... is anyone else dare i say nostalgic......Or dare i say I MISS MARC SO SO MUCH !

On the weekend I purchased a new bag and wallet from a Bvlgari boutique (I live in Singapore).
I’ve just discovered that Selfridges sell both of these, (although not in my chosen colours), for a CONSIDERABLE discount - to the point where I could get the thousand dollar wallet for free compared to what I paid at the boutique. I’m quite shocked that they are able to offer these bags at such a discounted price!
Having not shopped in Selfridges before I’d like to know whether or not they often get in the majority of colours available (the bag I purchased has only just come out in my chosen colour) so is it likely Selfridges will have it in stock later this year?? And do they often offer blanket discounts on all of their bags which would mean an even better price again?
If it were only a couple hundred dollars in difference I could live with it, but the idea that I could be saving well over a thousand dollars is not sitting well with me!! This is the bag and wallet I bought for reference, thanks in advance for any advice / insight!

I’m pretty familiar with early 80s Chanel. I’ve experienced that especially in Italy and in France is pretty common to find very old Chanel with no date codes and inner logos which are very different from the current Chanel logos.
This is an example (this bag also has the type number “c592”, I’ve seen this logo before and I know it’s authentic):



The same seller also sells this white Chanel bag, which actually looks authentic to me. I’m not sure about the logo though. Maybe is it very very old (70s)?
Any thoughts about it? I’ve never seen it before and I’m genuinely curious to know what’s the age of the bag.

Hello all! I have been waiting to order the loop gm, however I’ve been really pleasantly surprised by the floral speedy bandouliere! What do you all think? Is it too old lady or a beautiful bag?! Will I regret it? I’m only buying one. I have seen some pictures of the loop gm reverse where I loved it and others where I thought it was meh.

I have been wanting a Birkin for a long time and thought I would get one for my 40th birthday from a H store and because of COVID things did not pan out as I expected. I also don't have a SA that I like, that can help me get one. I was asked for my preferences etc. by my SA a couple of years ago but nothing materialized. So I have been looking at preloved Birkins and came close to buying from Ann's fabulous finds and Kaz(SandiaExchange) but was not too happy with the color, HW or the one I was interested in was sold when I inquired. I settled on wanting a Togo B35 with Gold HW in neutral colors as my first B - Etoupe, Etain, Gold etc. So finally last week, I noticed Kaz posted a Birkin that was a neutral color and leather I did not consider before, but something about it made me want to pull the trigger. So can you guess what I got?
