I received this as a Christmas present from my Fiancé as I needed something for date nights out. It’s great for everyday running errands too! If you’re considering getting one I definitely recommend it! It’s a lot bigger than I expected, in the best way, and it fits my iPhone (I don’t have the max) perfectly. Absolutely love it!

Happy 2023! I’ve come to realize that I am drawn to trapezoid-shaped all-leather top handle bags (with optional strap I hardly ever use, and preferably with a touch of exotic)… I am currenly looking to add Delvaux (or another brand that fits the criteria)…. I do like diversity over duplicates…. Would appreciate any suggestions on brand, style, colour or type of leather… Many thanks!

I wondered if anyone could recommend products (or what not to try) when it comes to face care please. I realise we all have different skin and what someone loves might be something another doesn’t! I am 41 with ‘normal’ skin, just feels a touch dull. I don’t have a price range/limit.

I have been using Neal’s Yard products for the last couple of years which I do like but I wondered if it was time for a change! I used to use Clinique for years when I was younger (late teens and 20’s) and have tried some Charlotte Tilbury & Topic products.

I’ve been thinking about adding a white bag in my collection for some time now.
I’ve come down to 2 models: Gucci Dionysus with bamboo top handle and Gucci Sylvie top handle.
It won’t be obviously used as an everyday bag.
Things to consider: I’m planning to add a super mini Dionysus in denim (too cute) and a small Dionysus (still undecided about the color).
While I’m not a lover of black top handle bags (I only have a Kelly 28 black box and toile, all black leather Kellys look like doctor’s bags to me), I find the black top handle Sylvie gorgeous, so I might consider getting it as my black bag.
If I like a bag, I don’t mind having duplicates in different sizes/colors.
I’d appreciate to hear your thoughts, and if you have experiences with both models (pro and cons) I’m very happy to hear them.

Hi everyone, I tried to search but was unable to find a similar thread, so please move if needed. I wear a stack of bracelets, size 16 in JUC, 16 in clash, 17 in love etc. I am ordering a custom Hawaiian heirloom bracelet as my DH's family is from Hawaii and we spend a lot of time here.
The SA at Na Hoku thought a size 6.75 inch hinged bracelet would match up with my current stack, but I'm still a bit worried on sizing! Has anyone had the same issue with getting custom bracelets or know what size to get? Mahalo!

Need help in terms of what leathers to ask for next bag wishlist.

questions:
What leathers are water resistant? Is Togo water resistant? Swift?
What leathers are stain resistant?
are the box leather lookalikes tadelakt and sombrero (other?) also as badly water delicate? How do they age compared to box?

For context, my limited leather experience with H:
clemence-love the smell and feel, love the water resistance, can literally wipe new marks/stains off quickly with a wet paper towel and leaves nothing behind, but slightly annoyed at how it’s drooping within less than a year (I know that's how it's supposed to be but still).
evercolor- have an SLG in this, but no bags, seems super stain resistant, dropped the light color slg on the dirty ground outside and no marks at all, but not as luxe feeling as clemence.
Chèvre-the inside of my Birkin is probably this and while it looks really nice it got color transfer from something that cannot be cleaned off so I’m not sure I’d want a bag where the outside is this
evergrain- the bag itself is super functional but it got scratched up so easily, probably not water proof but I wiped off quickly. Would not want something with similar characteristics

When you received your Celine triomphe bag (in shiny calfskin) did you get a soft cloth to help clean it routinely? I didn’t get anything and I ordered it online.
What do you do to keep your triomphe in pristine condition and wipe away/ buff out any scratches or fingerprint smudges- which I know this bag is prone to showing. Thanks in advance

So, I’ve taken a first tentative step into the world of Mulberry. I’ve bought a very old black small Bayswater (2005) and authenticated it here first. It’s gorgeous! I’ll keep it for best.
I look at the new price tags and it frightens me. I am tempted to buy another bigger one second hand…

Lord and Taylor is selling counterfeit products and has been doing so for over a year now. They know their products are fake and I am flabbergasted that this is being allowed. I purchased a gucci bag in december and thought it looked off. Had it looked at by 2 professional authenticator and it was a counterfeit. Many reviews on line also say that they are selling fake products. Yes, I should have read them first, but like many people I thought lord and taylor was a trusted store. I have even seen it stated on here that it can be trusted. Lord and Taylor went out of business a few years ago. An investment group bought the name for 12 million, opened an online store only and started selling counterfeit products. If you purchased from then in the last year it is probably a fake bag. I spent two thousand dollars. I returned the bag and received a refund but I am aghast that this company has been allowed to operate legally in the us. Take my warning and do not purchase from Lord and Taylor.

I know it's been a while since the last season came out, but Marta's (Amado's love interest) outfits....I'm obsessed! Compared to the rest of the outfits on Narcos, these are just so wearable.

My beloved father recently passed away. He was kind, intelligent, a feminist and a huge lover of fashion.

His favorite color was red. We are planning a Celebration of Life and my mom would like to encourage people to wear red or bright vibrant colors.

I don’t think I want to wear an entirely red outfit so I’ve started looking for H scarves and shawls to pop over a black or navy dress. I’m looking on the H site at current scarves and open to pre-owned if they are in great condition.

Please share any designs from past seasons you have seen in red; I will see if I can track them down. Right now Mountain Zebra is one of the designs I like, and I like the bandana shawls (but worry they might be a little casual looking for the occasion). I am happy to be proven wrong on that!

I’ve been on TPF for 15 years but have always got mid designer brands like Coach, MJ, Kate Spade, and Tory Burch. Today I listed all of those bags on Poshmark and am ready for an upgrade!

Now that I’m in my mid 30s, I’d like to get my first high end luxury bag. Something that will complement my outfits as I turn 40 and older. I’ve been spinning my wheels reading online but I haven’t thought about luxury handbags in years so thought I’d make a post.

Wants:
- Brown or black
- Comfortable!
- Hands free (crossbody preferred)
- No loud logos
- Can be used both running errands and going out to eat
- Durable (I have two large dogs)
- Enough room for at least a large iPhone, keys and wallet, chapstick, face mask, and hand sanitizer.
- I’d also like to feel like I’m getting value for my money, as much as you can with a lux handbag purchase anyway.

On initial glance I was looking at the Gucci Marmont, Gucci Soho Disco, YSL envelope or College, and Celine belt bag. Also LV speedy b25 in DE but I could feel uncomfortable carrying it in certain social situations.

I recently treated myself to a pair of Tod's Gommino Pasante lug-sole loafers. I've been wanting a slightly chunky loafer for a while now, and after spending weeks looking at, and discarding, various styles, I decided to order these from Saks.

Gorgeous, exactly what I was looking for, and so incredibly comfortable. Just one problem: if I walk on any surface except a carpet or rug, they squeak. Not a tiny discreet squeak, either, but an embarassingly loud squeak that sounds almost flatulent.

I'm going to assume it's the rubber(ish?) sole? Then again, I have other rubber soled shoes that don't do this, and I wouldn't expect it from a $700 shoe.

Anyone else have this problem and, if so, how did you fix?

I'm about to send them back, it's really hilarious but ultimately not acceptable.

I recently purchased a galleria GM from my aunt and I noticed the interior pocket had been altered (snap pocket and cell phone pocket removed and replaced with a zip pocket)
If the date code was removed, how would it be possible for me to authenticate it??
I haven’t received it yet to see if the date code is there but I noticed the pocket had been changed.

Considering a bag on eBay. Two lines in the listing seems like it might be a red flag, or I might be overanalyzing. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

Authentic and please don’t not question it. Anyone who knows these bags knows this is authentic.

If a bag is authentic, why would the seller not want any questions? And the second line sounds like they are playing to a buyer's ego. 'I know these bags, so I don't want to look dumb by questioning the authenticity.'

I recently had a discussion with a friend about this style because I mentioned that I won’t be jumping on this train. She disagreed and has bought two hobos over the last year.

In my early 20s I had quite a few because around 2000 it was the most common bag style. But over time I sold/gave away every bag without regrets.

Though many people call them a classic style I am not convinced.
I don’t see this style as timeless as others but maybe I am just too old.

To me they seem to be impractical compared to other bag styles. You can only wear them on the shoulder. They don’t always stay there if you wear smooth fabrics. During winter some don’t fit over thick jackets. You can‘t get into when wearing them…

Imho classic or timeless styles mostly serve a certain purpose (e.g. tote bags for work) and/or are a bit more versatile to wear (e.g. strap + top handle on shoulder bags). So after the craze has gone you still have plenty of reasons or occasions to wear them and they never vanish completely.

That‘s why I also think mini bags were or are not here to stay. But maybe I am a bit biased and I am really interested in different opinions.
