What is with everyone selling Chanel on IG? I seem to see at least 6-8 shows a day with many more on the weekends and I don’t even follow that many people! Where is everyone getting the merch they are selling? Seems like the same people show on every show

Most of my briefcases are from LV, but I recently decided to browse for Hermes professional bags. I came across this beauty (the design, not the condion ), and it caught my eye. I searched the whole forum and didn't see a single thread mentioning this briefcase.

Has anyone heard of this/owned it? Is this even the correct name?

The first trench coat I received in the mail was packaged beautifully. It came in a Burberry box, the coat was neatly folded and carefully wrapped in tissue paper, and the garment bag was properly folded underneath. Sadly, I had to return it for a different size and color. (I did not take pictures of the beautiful packaging.)

The new coat I received was an entirely different story. For reference, this is the Burberry Short Chelsea Heritage Trench Coat. It came already hung in the garment bag, there was no Burberry box, and the shipping box was smushed in. At first, it didn't really bother me because the only thing that mattered was the coat. I didn't need fancy packaging or an extra Burberry box. However, upon closer inspection, I found many loose threads on the coat. I received the coat on Friday, January 13, 2023, and I have only worn it for a day. The pictures are representative of the many issues I found. All button holes were like this, and there were more loose threads.

My question to you all wonderful people: is this normal Burberry trench coat quality? Sadly, I have already cut the tags, so I don't even know if anything can be done about it.

Does any one have these earrings? What are your thoughts?

I am looking to get myself a birthday gift and the Rene caovilla snake crystal booties caught my eye. They are surprisingly comfortable to wear. My only concern is how well do the crystals hold up? Of course these are occasion shoes so I will be wearing them for night outs only. Any thoughts on these?

I'm torn between the coco crush ring in white gold and the Cartier love ring in white gold. Which do you have and what are the pro's/cons? or if you have both, which do you prefer?

Or if you don't, then what is your opinion? Like or dont care for it? Would you purchase this bag or the Gucci Aphrodite bag in black??

I've had a few puzzles over the years but never a mini and never in the beautiful sand color. It truly goes with everything. I particularly love the gold HW and can't believe it can fit everything in the last pic, plus my phone. It is so lightweight I can barely tell it's on me when I wear it. And the best part? I don't have to take it off when I'm in my car! I can just slip the seat belt around on top of the strap and off we go. This little guy is going to be perfect for trips when I'm walking through cities and need just the essentials but don't want to have to worry about being pickpocketed...or feeling like my pockets are being weighed down. Thank you, Loewe!

Just curious... When you've been in Hermès' native Paris, which of their bags do you find Parisian women most often sporting?

Would love opinions on these two. I’d be using it as an every day bag. Thanks!

Hello, dear friends. My last reveal was about 1/2 a yr ago and, since then, I've been adding new additions to my H family which I'd love to share w/you now. As you know, after awhile collecting H is as much about finding treasures from past seasons as it is about what is new. This reveal is a mix of both.

First up we have a Double Sens 45 in bleu electrique/graphite clemence. It is accentuated by a Bottega Veneta luggage tag, H glove holder, and Mai Tai pom. Originally I wore it w/the graphite on the outside but now I've reversed that because the BE is just so vibrant...I do use a yellow custom made bag organizer that is oval shaped- it helps ease my fear about sharp edges leaving indentations in the soft leather.

Next up is a Garden Party 36 in craie negonda. I love the lighter H leathers (craie, beton, nata, parchment, etc) and the weather imperviousness of negonda. The way craie looks in different lighting is really exquisite. I adore the workhorse nature of the GP, which truly is the best of companions as far as ease of usage. I've added a gold H glove clip and Loewe bag charm which features an adorable (ceramic? not sure...) chow chow doggy on it. Inside is my fourbi 25, which leaves room for my laptop and a hydroflask. This is a perfect work bag!

The vert fizz calvi in epsom was a nod to this stunning color, which has transfixed me since it was released. The softer pale H colors are to die for and I love this light green.

Many thanks to a wonderful tpfer here for the next item, which is a feu piccolo pen case in chevre. I've always loved this leather and this case carries my 3 essentials perfectly: my fountain pen, a sharpie, and a highlighter. The piccolo is a very rare piece and I was so pleased to add it again to my collection.

The chevre remix wallet is in the gorjus (same meaning as gorgeous- the difference lies in the elocution- say gorjus in a breathy, Jacqueline-Bouvier-Kennedy-Onassis voice, in a higher tessatura, a bit slower, and with a generous smile on the face) bleu brume. I love this color, as well as the interior, which is vert criquet. This may be one of my favorite H wallet styles!

The two post-in note pad holders contrast beautifully. They are adorable pops of color and the soft swift leather has a lovely hand.

I wasn't sure if I loved colvert when it first came out but I have to admit that this color, in this dogon duo wallet, offers a wonderful counterpoint to the swift bleu atoll. I love the contrast of leathers and colors w/this wallet, as well as its ease of travel- I keep my checkbook and lesser used cards in this and love touching the togo leather.

The bain pouches come in diverse patterns and sizes. I've always liked the patterned canvas ones and when I found this one in Las Vegas this fall I had to snatch it up. They are so lightweight, work well in most any bag, and are such versatile carry-alls for this-and-thats.

I've had a curiosity about the Ulysse universel notebook cover since it first came out and was elated to get my hands on one recently in gorjus gold evercolor. I love the contrast white stitching with Hermes gold (and rouge H, etoupe, blue jean, etc) and I've never had an evercolor piece. A Midori A5 notebook fits perfectly and I love the size and structure of the universel compared to other other ulysse notebooks. I'm so glad I found this piece.

Does anyone else have this problem??? I love black bags but I constantly feel like I have to own bags in other colours e.g. white, tan/brown, and beiges. My wardrobe is mostly dark colours and I do worry about colour transfer on lighter bags. I want a diverse collection but the colour black for my bags really draws me in, as I know I will get the most wear from them. Does anyone else have this same issue? If they worked past it and now have a completely black bag collection?

Dear Scarfies, please help me to make decision. I have just purchased The Cosmographia scarf from Real Real. Described as new, no visible signs of wear. I have received and it pretty looks good, except for the part that Hermes tag was removed and the Real Real attached their tag directly to the silk causing 2 small holes and 2 small pulls. Please see attached photo. I paid for the scarf with shipping and tax $566, which is above current retail. I know its somewhat popular design that sells at a higher price, which I am ok to pay if it would be in perfect condition. Do you think I should keep or return? Also - do you remove Hermes tag from your scarves or keep it? Thanks!

I was eyeing the Chloe woody tote bag, but then saw this See by Chloe Laetizia.

It looks similar but a LOT cheaper. Since it’s more of a beach tote bag, I am thinking it makes sense to save some money here.

Thoughts? Anyone have any experience with these bags? It says it’s handmade in Madagascar.

Does anyone have any experience with Cartier cufflinks? I'm looking at these to give as a gift. I'm wondering how well the silver with palladium finish holds up over time. Does it tarnish? Do their cufflinks come with a cleaning kit and travel pouch like their jewelry does?

Hello fellow tpflers! Today my long anticipated LV x YK Keepall 25 arrived! I had to postpone the DHL delivery because I am of course working weekdays and it needed a personal signing for delivery! You don‘t know I excited I was for today and how anxious I was for oversleeping the ringing of DHL delivery man!

But here it comes! The package was so heavy that I was unsure if it was correct first, but the box which also had an issue of the LV magazine was indeed superheavy…
Like the others who ordered online, it came with an extra paperbag with the Kusama dots.

So, now comes the eye candy:

I’m looking for a super lightweight bag that I can throw around and shove everything into but still look chic. Open to suggestions!

I ended up ordering two black medium short handle LP and was only planning on keeping one, however one of the ones they sent is from before 2021 or around then because it has no large inside pocket. I have posted photos of both. So I have run into a dilemma- and i am so hoping some of you can relate - but I am unsure which to keep - basically a fashion over function.

Breakdown of the issue:

Older LP:

PROS:
- made in France
- darker black
- more Elegant darker leather with smaller triangles
- looks like the one I loved on the model in the attached photo

CONS:
- no inner pocket

New Lp:
PROS:
- made in China and not tsnqsia as I find those tend to be not as good quality.
- POCKET!!! For cel phone easy access
- still a nice dark bag,
CONS:
- leather is not as nice
- handles being larger triangles on the short handle to me makes the bag look more luggage like than purse like
- is not the one in the photo (I know....sigh - silly reason)
- not as feminine or dark


Please help me! I have to decide in the next two weeks and I can’t afford both so very much appreciated your lovely lady expertise. Tell me what you like and what you prefer and why! I would love pics too

Hello all! So this is my first Prada purchase in about 6 years, and I have to admit, I am highly disappointed. Can anyone share if these defects are normal for Prada as of late? My last Prada purchases were in 2015 and 2016 and both bags are close to pefect, sans some wear on the corner of my double bag. TIA for your feedback! I am waiting to hear back from client services for the next step. Feel free to tell me if this is normal for recent Prada purchases, as I do not want to exchange and end up in the same situation. Really disappointed, as the color is absolutely stunning. I have no idea how this got through quality control. There is bubbling in two areas, the front bottom corner and the side near the piping.
