Getting my first rolex this weekend and wanted to see what sizes those of you with rolexes have purchased. I am leaning towards the 31mm as I like a smaller watch, but am not sure whether I'd regret not getting the larger size. Attached are both sizes on my wrist for reference.

But to me the vintage steel looks much darker than the newer steel (the photo with the diamond bracelet). Is it the photos? Have you seen both a vintage and a new one in person? Does anyone else feel guilty about the amount of clothes, shoes, and handbags they own and haven’t used or wore in years? I’m in the middle of cleaning out my closet, and notice how many things I own, and still love but just don’t wear. Personally, I feel like the pandemic has destroyed my sense of style and fashion.

Which lead me to create this post. Is there anyone else feeling the same way, and perhaps interested in creating a fashion challenge in which we would essentially be shopping our own closet. Maybe we could select 2-4 items from ea. category; garments, shoes, handbags, accessories, jewelry, etc. that we may never used or worn, or just been sitting for years. Perhaps, we could style these items alone or with other pieces we wear often. ‍♀️ Any thoughts or ideas?

I have a 1.39 brilliant cut Tiffany & Co. solitaire set in platinum. This past weekend I found a stunning 2.20 TCW, 18k gold T & Co, estate eternity band. The setting is the older bar set style. The width is 3 mm. The stones are graded as F, VS1 and the fire is amazing! Has any one paired a platinum ring with an 18k yellow gold wedding band? If so, what are your thoughts? I have heard some people say that it is not recommended but my SA at Tiffany's said it would be fine. The classic Tiffany solitaire is set so high that it works with just about any Tiffany wedding band.

I am obsessed with this band!!! Please share any knowledge you have on mixing metal. Thanks in advance.

My boyfriend first showed me photos of these furry Birkin NFT's (named "MetaBirkins") a few weeks ago and now they're being taken off the marketplace after Hermes issued the creator a cease and desist letter. I've also seen other artists make art based on Birkins before (ex: Becky Rosa's Birkream statues) but I haven't heard of any legal issues encountered before.

Do artists have a right to create art based on brand trademarks and designs?

I plan on purchasing a necklace from Bvlgari for my upcoming birthday this weekend. I was checking out their sizing and the standard size appears to run between 16/17 inches. Does anyone know anything about Bvlgari‘s extension service? Does it works like Cartier, the first extension free? Or do they charge? There is nothing on their website that provides insight regarding this matter.

I am curious about the Lexington pouch. I see it now online in a goldish metallic debossed monogram, but I’m potentially interested in the Nanogram one releasing in March. Recently, I tried to pre-order an item through a boutique based SA and I was told that they could not place the order for me because I didn’t have a client profile as I had only purchased online. It wasn’t the end of the world, but I had never run into this. So I was wondering if this means if I want to pre-order anything in the future with an SA that I need to make a trip to a boutique and purchase something to set-up a profile? And if so does it matter if it’s a US based boutique or not? I live about 8-10 hours to the closest boutique and so I’m unlikely to purchase anything in a US boutique, but it is likely I”d purchase something from an airport boutique (Heathrow) or other European boutique. Does anyone happen to know?

I purchased the below bag less than a year ago, and the leather on the handle is peeling in 2 places. It’s clearly not because I rubbed against something, because one of the places is the very top of the handle.

Online Client Services has agreed to recolor the leather and waive the repair fee as a “one-time courtesy.” I’m not satisfied with this, because the fact that it happened in 2 places to me indicates that the materials are faulty and will happen again. I would like a refund or store credit.

I now have the option of going to a boutique for an evaluation, but this would mean taking time off work because the repair folks are available only on weekdays. If you have an appointment for an in-store repair evaluation, can you talk directly to the repair folks or do you simply drop your bag off and wait 2 weeks for an assessment? If you speak to them directly, sounds like it would be worth the effort to go in person.

I own a nano in black that is hands down the most worn handbag in my collection. I love the style, perfect size, very comfortable and for me ticks all the boxes.

I have been eyeing the mini for work for years and I’m considering taking the plunge. I like it mostly in souris. Really like the black also but most of my work bags are black and so is my nano.

Many of my work outfits are burgundy, brown, or grey. So I typically gravitate to black (or even brown) as work bag. How would the souris color combine with these color outfits? Any thoughts or recommendations?

Also my assumption is that a 13” laptop (with light case) will fit ok - is this right?

I'm looking for my second YSL mini lou bag because it's proven to be incredibly useful in my collection.
My first one is the older version from 2018 and the color was called Smog. A dark bluish grey. In dark light settings, it's almost black.

For my second bag, I'm contemplating a light color but cannot decide on which one. Please chime in.

1. White? Is it too stark?
2. Beige? More neutral?
3. Peach? A little pink in the nude color?

PS: I also recently got a Chanel WOC in 22k Dark Pink (fuchsia) so I'm not thinking about a red.

I’ve just bought a lambskin medium CF. I’ve noticed that the strap does not move really at all through the eyelets (if that’s what they are called).

I have to force them through if I want to alter the strap length to wear the bag in a different way if the bag is closed.

is this right?

if the bag is open I can move them but they don’t run smoothly, is this normal. I’ve tried looking on you tube videos, but they haven’t been much help really.

also, if I pull the strap through the eyelets when it’s closed, they seem to be leaving marks/indents on the top of the interior flap.

again is this also normal?

I’ve just purchased a medium lambskin classic flap. I’ve read a number of threads on here but I’m still not sure which way to go.

Do you think I definitely need a bag insert/liner?

Would this be to keep the shape of the bag
Or
Just to keep the inside of the bag clean and stop the leather interior from getting scratched?

If you don’t have a liner, will the inside of the bag get scratched up badly?

If I think it would bother me, getting a scratched Leather interior, would you say get a bag liner?

My concern with getting a liner for this bag is that it’s already quite small inside and getting the liner will just reduce the space even more. I’m worried I wont be able to fit my essentials in if I get one. It reduced the amount I can fit inside my medium boy bag when I got a liner.

also, I don’t want the liner to stretch or damage the bag.

Any thoughts on this from anyone?
