I have ordered my first ever notebook cover. Just curious to those who own these, are there cheaper re fill alternatives? Also what do you use your notebooks for?

Other than sitting pretty on my desk I'm not sure what I will use mine for. Maybe as a bill planner? I know everything is digital these days & most people keep everything on their phones but I still love note books & writing things down.

I recently purchased the 5 motif guilloche and diamond bracelet as I wanted it for a while and wanted to get my most expensive wish list item as I know price increases are inevitable. Now I’m a bit worried about how it will hold with time.
All my other VCA pieces are either hammered YG/ RG or diamond and this will be my first guilloche. What do you all think? Am I better off getting the 16 sweet motif hammered RG instead? I’m not keen on spending 14k on mother of pearl or malachite/ diamond combo so that is not an option (they are gorgeous but even less durable than gold). thanks ☺️

I have been wanting to get into Hermes for a long time, but I don't live anywhere near a store. It's hard to get a relationship with an SA when you only go to stores when you travel. That said, I recently sold a bunch of bags I wasn't wearing or didn't love anymore (lots of Chanel), and I've been replacing with Hermes bags. I only had a black Herbag with gold hardware (love it so much), and I just got an Evelyne 29 yesterday. I'm obsessed now lol.

I have a Victoria 35 on the way and a Bolide 35 too! I'm thinking a Picotin will be next and possibly a 24/24 bag? I'd love a Kelly someday too. Excited to be here.

Would you recommend using Brasso metal polish on the Gucci Disco?

I succumbed to the hype and bought the Uniqlo mini shoulder bag. I can see how it would be great for travel but wish there was more organization. Is it silly to look for an insert for a $20 bag? I bought a Hermes Constance bag from a seller in Canada. I used UPS as a carrier; however, when I received yesterday, it is an empty box.
I assume one of the drivers or workers stole it because two days ago I was being charged $700 duty, meaning the bag is still there when customs check?
Does anyone know what I should do? I know for now I can file a claim on UPS but not sure what they will do. I have the bag serial number.

Hi! This is my Celine luggage, bought preloved at $1300, used it for 25 times (yes, i keep track) only and found the edge paint cracking already.

Do you experience this with your nano luggage? I am generally careful with my bags. What could i have done wrong?

I was browsing through a European website when I saw this picture. The size is in between the toy & the small. Does this even exist? If you look at the chain it is the same way as the classic loulou where the grommets on each side are next to each other. I've been in the actual store when I was in Europe but never ordered from them online. I'm referring to Vitkac.

I'm seeking advice, on how to protect myself (shipping wise, payment wise and least worry is authentication wise) when buying a preloved luxury bag from a reseller.

As a background, I've been researching for sometime (a number of years) to buy my HG bag. I've researching for a Hermes (B or K), then Chanel (Med CF), and now Dior - Diorama.
I'm looking to purchase diorama from Emier (Melbourne, Australia) or Purse Affair (Melbourne, Australia), because I think, I'd rather wait for the Kelly that I want (K28 Epsom Rouge GHW or Noir PHW) which I can get access for it from a family member who is VVIP in Hermes, than buying another almost 10K bag (Chanel flap). As I think , waiting is more of being financially responsible to do so.
And, in the meantime, I'll get a Diorama as it seems to be less dear, seemingly tough leather, and fit my needs - cross body that can turn into a night bag.

My questions ...
1. For authentication purpose, is there a known authenticator (like Zeko in Chanel or Bababebi in Hermes) who specializes in Dior?
2. For payment purpose, is it better (for protection purposes) with PayPal and then funded by a credit card (to allow at min. 2x charge back facilities, if things turn bad)? And is it better to use an Amex credit card?
3. For shipping purpose, is it better (more protection for me) to have it shipped to me (with insurance and tracking)? Or have it picked up by me on the site?

Has anyone had an issue with their smooth leather Jackie (not grained leather) smelling? I received one and it just smells horrible. I was told this is normal and to just let it air out for a few days. Still smelled after to the point where I left it in my car and my whole car smelled afterwards. I exchanged for another one which still smells but not as potent. For those who have it, does it ever go away?

Also, the underneath of the strap showed the “wrinkles” after one or two uses. Worried this means it’s going to quickly start peeling. Love that bag and want to keep if the smell will go away and if the strap won’t peel, so curious to hear other’s experience.

New to the brand and loving a lot of pieces but not sure if price is justified? How easy are these pieces to care for? Can they be dry cleaned? The few pieces I have all say hand wash only which honestly just would not work for my lifestyle...
