I bought two love cuffs prior to the price increase online since I don’t have a Cartier boutique close hoping to find my size and keep one. Unfortunately, I felt the size 16 was too snug and the size 17 rotated. I returned them promptly, but Cartier is slow on returns. Today I received an email that my size 16 bracelet was rejected by their return department. They included a photo with deep abrasions and what looked like years of wear.

I have a video of me trying the bracelet on, but I didn’t take a ton of close up photos. It seems the only thing possible is that Cartier switched the bracelets on accident or (who knows???) someone working there has purposefully tried to swap the one I’m returning.

Has anyone had a situation like this? The purchase was made with an AMEX so I’m hoping they’ll protect me. I would not recommend ever buying anything from Cartier online and only working directly with a boutique and SA.

Attached is a photo of the abrasions. I literally tried the bracelet they sent on maybe twice for 30 seconds each.

My MIL just gave me one of her old Lady D bags in ostrich leather. It’s not in the greatest condition—looks a bit dry and faded. She completely forgot about this beauty and I would like to bring it back to life.

I just wanted to know if anyone could share tips on how you maintain and store your ostrich bags.

Debating between the bracelet or necklace shown for an upcoming wedding anniversary. Does anyone have experience with either, especially for daily wear?

I’ve worn dainty chain bracelets before and inevitably I’ve broken them. I’m not interested in the bangle bracelet as I’m on the computer pretty much all day. At the same time I love stacking bracelets but prefer to keep necklaces solo.

I’ve read that many luxury companies are 10-20% cheaper than mainland USA even before you consider sales tax differences. Is this the case with Tiffany too? I’ve seen people say it’s cheaper than Australia but haven’t seen it it’s cheaper than mainland USA! I know with Hawaii’s low sales tax it would be slightly cheaper than most states but I wasn’t sure if they had a regional discount too like Louis Vuitton and other stores do!

Hello, jewelry enthusiasts please help. I am not a jewelry aficionado however, I have fallen in love with the Tiffany Soleste Oval Yellow Diamond Ring. This will be my only ring and I will wear it on my index finger.

I am in need of assistance in choosing between Fancy Yellow and Fancy Intense Yellow. So for approximately a 0.57 caret oval soleste ring a Fancy Intense is 3-4k more than Fancy Yellow (cut, clarity all the same). Should I stay with the FY or the FIY?


The Tiffany manager advised “the FY at 10k is a better buy as it’s unusual to find a yellow diamond in this price range and you can always upgrade later. You won’t look at the diamond and wish it were an FIY. You are young leave room to upgrade.” It was a sweet assessment from the manager.

I am in new and exciting territory here with yellow diamonds. Any suggestions?

I’m going to get a bag liner for my black medium lambskin CF.

I don’t really want to get a burgundy / wine shade to match the interior as I think I’d find that quite dark and I’d like to be able to see inside the bag clearly. Obviously, this would be the best shade as it would match the interior.

What colour liner do you have in your CF?

I’d like a baby pink one, but I’m not sure this would go. The only other colour I could think of would maybe be a medium or light grey? What do you think?

Also, as there is already very little room in the bag, I don’t really want one that will reduce the space even more so I wasn’t going to go for the usual 2mm thickness as I think I will lose too much space.

I think the bag is quite structured so don’t really need one to help keep the shape of the bag, let me know if you think I’m wrong. I think a thin liner would work. Maybe 1.2mm thickness. What do you think?
