Hi All I am wanting to buy earrings with diamonds for my birthday this year. Would appreciate suggestions. I have looked at a wide range of earrings online but not much is speaking to me. I like modern clean lines and symmetry. I’d like a stud style in wg with pave diamonds. I would like something different than straightforward round diamond stud earrings or halo style. looking for .5 to 1.5 carats of diamonds.

Also if anyone has mod shots would appreciate it. Brands that speak to me most are Hermes Chanel vca and cartier. I’m open to other brands except bulgari Tiffany and dy. Thank you!

I’ve heard of people wanting their le pliage and Neo items in the washing machine. Has anyone tried this? How did it turn out? I’m concerned about ruining the bag. Also, did it clean up any stains?

Just wondering about opinions on this years coloration. I purchased the book tote and the Dway slides however I’m second guessing these items—reason being I’m not finding that they pair well with my Summer wardrobe. I certainly can’t travel with the book tote as I live in the tropics and have to limit my bag wardrobe when flying over 5k miles. I can see turning to these pieces come Fall but letting them sit for a few months has me conflicted. It’s rare I ask for opinions as I typically know what I want. This collection as stunning as it is leaves me on the fence. I should add, I passed on the bright pinks and orange of 2022 and have a fair amount of regret.

I am seeking to reduce the number of bags I have and have one crossbody bag that I would primarily use on a daily basis, I’ve discovered I have a lot of bags many of which I haven’t carried in over a year. So I’m gearing up to sell most of my collection. So I’m seeking recommendations for a handbag that is incredibly durable, can be worn crossbody, has a removeable strap, has an outside pocket that can hold a phone (ideally also a top handle), and has no obvious logos. So no Gucci or LV monogram. I want to be able to carry the following items - mini pochette, compact wallet, 4-ring key hold, cles, lipstick, iPhone 14 pro max, resuseable shopping bag, and a small pack of wipes.

Ideally I’d like to spend less than 3k. I’m a public school teacher so i am looking for something that most people wouldn’t realize is designer or luxury (otherwise I’d just buy a pochette metis in canvas and call it a day ).

I'm looking for reputable consignment stores/resellers that offer buyout options for luxury handbags in Canada.
I already know of Luxe Du Jour in Calgary and perhaps Oliver Jewellery in Toronto.
Does anyone else know any other stores that offer reasonable buyout prices?
I'm located in Toronto, ON so hoping to be able to visit them in person.

Also, for those that shipped their items for buyout, which carrier did you use? UPS? or Canada Post?
I've never sold any of my pieces before so I'm extra cautious & also don't really know what to expect.

This is such a cool-looking bag that I was able to purchase Friday from the website before the bots. I don't really see any info or mod shots from people with the Steeple 25 bag. Kathrin Bommann on Instagram is the only other person I've seen with it, and I love how she styles it.

It's showing up today from FedEx, and I can't wait to see it. Buuuuut ... it's a $4500 (with taxes) bag that's mostly canvas. Does anyone else have it and love it? Tell me what you think. I got the gray/black/white combo pictured.

Also: this isn't my first Hermes bag. I have the Evelyne 29, Victoria II 35, Herbag 31, and a Picotin 22.

how do you store your lambskin minis? is it best to lay them down or stand them up?
I have mine lightly stuffed but standing up in its dust bag with the chain outside of the dust bag.
im worried about creases at the bottom of the bag as I commonly see it on lambskin bags but don't want the quilts at the back to go flat so not sure what's best. TIA x

Hi all! I’m curious if any of you have gotten a zipper pull replaced or repaired and the replacement was not the same model as the pull that came with your item originally? For example, I came across this item pictured below (apologies for the image quality, it’s from a video lol!). It’s from Japan and has the right stamps and whatnot, so I’m not too worried about the authenticity (and I know there’s a thread for that, but it’s not my question about per se), I’m just curious if it ever happens that zipper pulls may be replaced with a different model. The item pictured is an older key cles. I know that normally it comes with the pull without a hole and just an LV monogram, but this one reminds me of zipper pulls for some bags, especially those that can be padlocked, etc. It also appears newer than the zipper teeth or stopper, which what first made me think this was a replacement.

Hi guys, I have recently made the decision to purchase my first Cartier bracelet. Currently I have 2 options:

1. Purchase a brand new Love (regular size) without diamonds from the store
2. Purchase a pre-owned Love (regular size) with 4 diamonds and save about 31% off retail price. The condition is very good, it comes with full set except receipt and the seller (a reseller, not previous owner) said can do any form of 3rd party authentication as well

I kinda want to purchase it brand new for sentimental reasons. I plan to wear it 24/7 and don’t think of resell it later. I’m also scared what if it’s listed for resell because something happened to previous owner (like they’re no longer living, I know it sounds stupid but I really consider it because I’ll be wearing the bracelet all the time ). But tbh it’s a very good deal, I don’t want to miss it either.
If you’re in my situation, which option would you choose?

I’ve been given the opportunity for a special order bag. After much consideration, and since I have 4 Birkins and no Kelly. I decided on a Kelly. But I’m stuck on the size. I have no evening bags or clutches, because I don’t really go out that much. But I’d like a Kelly that could go day to night. My wardrobe is mostly black, white with a little bit of some jewel tone colors like royal blue or emerald green. I’m thinking I will do a black Kelly with a pop of color on the inside. But I’m stuck on the size.
For reference I’m only 5’3 (160cm) and weigh 125 lbs (56 kilos).

This would have been great to have when this service started back in 2007. Alas, the sticker shock itself of this item is enough to reconsider... .. $ 1700 usd.

Maybe this is mostly a European thing anyways, the habit of having your ears pierced and wearing earrings (most of my American cousins do not have their ears pierced to my great surprise) but I'm used to people wearing earrings. I got mine when I was a teen and I remember my friends and relatives all wearing earrings regularly. Now when I look at my old school mates and everyone's grownup kids and teens, very few wear earrings. Some never got their ears pierced, some have stopped wearing earrings so they can't anymore (no piercings anymore). Why? Is this a trend now? Is it not "cool" to wear jewellery?

I'm the odd one out, the one who loves jewellery of all sizes and wears it every day. I have tons of earrings of various kinds and I keep switching them according to how I feel and the occasion. I just think it's sort of boring to see all these naked earlobes around. Not only that, but when you get older, you start losing colour meaning a lot of contrast disappears from your face and hair, you'd think jewellery would be one way to bring some back. And it doesn't need to be expensive.
It has come to a point where when I think about it, only the women in my family and in my husband's family wear earrings, like we're some sort of a weird jewellery wearing clan.
