I'm having a milestone birthday in a little over a month and want to treat myself. One of the goodies I was planning to purchase is a Love wedding band, but I don't know if that is a good idea. I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthiritis in June. As a result, my fingers along with most of my joints are swollen. I'm not sure what to do because I really want the ring. I haven't started treatment yet and I won't until November at the earliest. I don't want to buy it now and later on it won't fit. Maybe I should just get a necklace and call it a day.

Looking at potentially buying a pair of 2nd hand suede Harler in Atlantic however they are a size 40, and I'm normally a 40.5 or 41.

Does anyone have this pair, does it run larger at all? I know, probably wishful thinking but thought I'd ask anyway.

Finally got my sweet little mini Gate, I love it! I’m petite and the strap still isn’t quite as long as I like so I’ll likely be shopping for a longer one, but I’m enjoying her in the meantime!

Does anyone have any experience with this Savette Tondo bag? Is the quality good? Is it functional, durable, easily damaged? I saw it in the green suede a long while ago and didn’t buy it. Then it sold out. Now they have the same bag in a brown suede which is lovely as well. I am just not familiar with the brand though. If anyone has any experience they can share with the Savette brand and/or this bag in particular, I’d appreciate it!

Hi everyone!

One of the things I have loved about shopping with Hermes is the quality and curation. It’s made me want to be more intentional about the quality and style of the other things in my life. Hermes is a lifestyle brand, so what other brands or items would you say pair nicely with Hermes?

Are there purchases you’ve made recently that, for whatever reason, made you say, “the is the Hermes of…”? Coffee, books, clothes, furniture, organizational tools? They don’t need to be luxury items per say, but rather items that are thoughtfully designed, made from high quality ingredients, and give you joy the way that Hermes does.
For me, brands that come to mind are Doen (clothes), Universelle Buly (perfume and personal care), and Lucchese (Cowboy Boots). I’d love to discuss!

Has anyone got this bag. Seems like a perfect classy mini bag at a great price point for H. I wonder how much it can fit and whether the hardware at the back would make it uncomfortable to wear crossbody.

Ok let’s start with a little background. I’m looking for a mummy’s bag for running errands and bringing kids to and fro school. Something that can carry wallet, a small uv umbrella, tissue, probably an eco bag and some trinkets that my boys may bring back from school. I was looking all over the internet when saw the Vespa PM and fell in love with it again.

I already have a noir with ghw Picotin, noir with ghw mini Evelyne, bright green phw mini evelyne and a few others trench/ pink/ plum dressier clutches and bags. Which Vespa would you think I should get? Also, I’m suspecting a scratch on the front of the gold on gold vespa which I’m a little worried that cannot be removed. They are +/-200usd difference (noir is a little more exp).

I wish I asked this sooner and now I am down to the last hour before I can no longer return. I wanted to get everyone’s opinion on this since I am on the fence between these two.

I recently purchased my first Rolex (yay!) as a birthday gift to myself (40!!) and originally, I always thought that I’d want one with a white or light dial with the diamond markers. I saw this beautiful blue vignette one and instantly fell in love. It made me pull out the CC in seconds. However, I keep second guessing myself because I feel like I should have gone with something ‘safe’ such as the one with the white/silver dial. I definitely love the diamond markers and feel that it stands out more with the blue and something with the blue makes it pop but then…the lighter dial is simple and classic. I’ve never seen it in real life and only in photos and it’s gorgeous but then I’m not sure if the diamonds blend in with the light dial. And if it does, then I was looking at the one with the Roman numerals. My hubby votes for blue since it isn’t one that you see everyday and my sister says the blue stands out more.

I know I could always save up and get the other combo later but as my first big girl watch purchase, I want something that I can wear everyday. And who knows when I’ll be able to get another one - I have 3 kids to feed first lol.

I’d appreciate anyone’s honest opinion To help me decide. I have until Tuesday to return.

Photos attached of the blue one I currently have and the other two that I’m looking at.

So far, I have gathered a few Zimmermann pieces and one of their RTW. The fabrics are Ramie, Silk, Viscose, and one partial Polyester to the tune of $6,090 spent.

Hmm now what? My closet is so pretty and the dresses suit me well. I don't know where to wear them if that makes sense lol. Are Zimmermann dresses suitable for casual wear? I'm not in a very flashy town and some simple pieces from Lululemon got a bit of snarky feedback. My concern is I'll fall into the category of my spending not being tasteful or having a staple wardrobe. New to this and still finding my way along.

Is there a better way to shop for clothing? I don't mind gentle pre-owned sites, it's not much different if my sister or friend offered some lovely hand-me-downs.

I don't like jeans, any cut. Shoes and sneakers are too tight so I honestly only have Birkenstock sandals. My wardrobe is mostly H&M blouses, Lululemon t-shirts, and Lululemon/Macys leggings but I would like to expand and explore. Like, are there other cuts of pants that are not jeans, leggings, or slacks? Where can I find high quality blouses in the $50-250 range that are not fast fashion? And what other types of shirts are there? Do crop tops only come as t-shirts or too short? Is there a balance of crop top and blouse? Birkenstocks feel silly with skirts, what shoes go with skirts?

I'm 5'8, about 150lbs with a smaller bust.

Today is the day that I stopped worrying about my favourite LD being lost and it is the day that it's confirmed to be lost. Attached a photo for you. Very sad... now I've only have the card the lovely SA wished me 'a great adventure with the Lady Dior' and the strap.

Anyway, before I respond to the message I received from Harrods' Baby Dior manager, I'd really love your opinion on this please.

I was sad to receive this but strangely I was not that surprised. I was nervous when I sent the bag back the second time. I had been worried that something might happen to it without knowing why the whole time. When I saw this bag on realreal few months ago I was seriously considering buying it. But then I thought, don't be silly, it'll be fine. That bag was sold soon so I lost my chance.

Anyway, here's a bit of background.
I talked about this specific bag previously in Dior chat threads and posted pictures. I bought a Nano Lady Dior from Harrods Baby Dior just when they discontinued the size back in 2021. I bought the last one which was a display. It cost £2800. The size is in between today's mini and micro.

The bag had a lot of heavy scratches around the hardware and the strap was worn (see old threads). Harrods sent it back to Dior few days later and after many months (nearly a year I think) it finally returned but the oval rings were the only parts unreplaced. I contacted the original SA and she suggested I wait until the parts arrived so I won't be without it for a long time like the first time round. She never got back to me about the parts. Until early this year through an accessory SA, I realised that the original Baby Dior SA had left.

The Baby Dior manager then took over my case. In April this year when I handed the bag to her she said that it's a well sought bag that many people are trying to get hold of it. I guess she meant the nano model, not necessarily the specific bag I have. I asked if she knows how long it'll be this time. She suggested I keep chase them up because they will act based on these chase-ups. I don't like chasing people but I tried to given her suggestion.

On 17 May 2023 I sent her a message asking the status and she said will update.

On 10 July I sent her a message asking if she could send Dior a friendly nudge. She responded two days later saying that the status says 'processing'. Good news I thought.

Today, 8 Sept, I sent a message to the manager just hoping that she's well and enjoying the nice weather. I didn't ask about the bag.

Then she delivered this sad news to me as you can see in the text.

There are some questions in my head: when did they find out? Is it a confidence that they just realised this today only after my message was sent at 5.22pm? Were there other bags that are lost in the package or just mine?

At this point, even if I'm given a full refund (£2800 in 2021), I can't buy a mini LD that has a sensible size where I can put my phone and essentials in.

These are my thoughts so far:
1. Ask if they have other older Nano models in stock, which can be a replacement if I find one that I like
2. Ask for a credit or refund of a mini LD.

I'd really love to hear your thoughts and suggestions.

I purchased two Artois but did not like the second color. I removed the plastic cover on the strap as I wanted to see how I could style it with my outfits.
I attempted to exchange it at the Beverly Hills location (driving back 5hrs) only to be denied of an exchange because of not having the plastic wrap. I didn’t use the bag at all! I was upset. I tried calling several times to inquire but they never answered their phones.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Will the iridescent bag and this dress go together? Dress is navy velvet and gold.

My thread got deleted for some reason so I wanted to rephrase my question.

I consigned a sweet Alhambra mop bracelet with Ann’s fab finds. The item sold on their store front on vestiaire but was rejected by vestiaire on grounds of not being certain about authenticity. Mind you this item was purchase from the boutique and I have a receipt.

Has anyone had a similar experience? I’m a bit dumbfounded as to the question on authenticity and not sure how to proceed. I no longer wear the item and would like purchase something else.

I've been searching the US website and there are hardly any items available. Do the artisans go on Holiday in August? Vintage Alhambra 5 motif bracelets are non-existent on the website as are a bunch of other Alhambra items.
