I want to get one but not sure if the mini or small is a better buy? Mini is adorable but not very practical would likely use it as an evening bag. The small is a good day time bag but not wow in my eyes… just looking for what others think if you have it and which size?

Has anyone here scoring anything during sale? Love their current items on sale. Many are quite beautiful and classic as well.

Here I am again! Still deciding on a 5 motif to match my yellow gold pave vintage pendant. I thought I had finally narrowed it down to the full pave 5 motif, but I had the chance to try on the guilloche/pave alternating in the boutique the other day. I think it’s super cute! I thought that maybe the alternating motif makes it so that it isn’t TOO “matchy-matchy” with my pendant and breaks up the pave a little. On the flip side, I have raging OCD and don’t fare well with visible scratches, so everyone is telling me pave is the most practical way to go, which I agree with. I’m having a tough time making a final decision, since I’d really like it to be something I can wear daily without having to worry, but also something I can style easily for any occasion. I feel like if I truly can’t decide, I may just have to rule out both… which would be very disappointing. But I don’t want to make a decision that I’ll regret either.

For those who bought the RTT pendant, does the heart flipping back and forth drive you nuts? If so, have you bought a jumpring from a third party seller and added it to it to avoid the necklace from flipping? Do you have a recommendation for the jumpring? I'm trying to avoid sending it to Tiffany as they charges 95$cad to have it done : (

I just bought a Marly Bandolier from What Goes Around Comes Around and it is in excellent condition. My only question is it does not have a shoulder pad protector on the strap. This style typically does. I'm thinking the previous owner removed it. Should I be concerned it is not authentic without the shoulder strap protector?

I haven’t been active on the forums since Covid. Long story short I opened a vegan bakery and haven’t bought any new bags since 2020 since you know… leather 😂. Anyways fast forward to today and I’m getting ready to move back to California and was cleaning out my closet. I looked at consignment stores to list a few of my items and came across this bag that was such a steal I couldn’t pass on it.

I would love to add box leather to my collection. I’ve recently found one from what I believe to a reputable reseller.
It is from the 90’s and appears to be in excellent condition.

I don’t know if this is something that can be answered on here, but is £9000 a reasonable amount to pay for a vintage box leather Kelly 32 with gold hardware? Strap included.

I'm in love. It's probably a good thing I don't live near a store.

I was browsing the Coach website and stumbled upon their Hall pieces made with what they called “paper weight leather” and say that it is super lightweight.

Does anyone have any experience with this leather? Or the Hall items? I’m curious if lightweight leather means thin and delicate and not great for day to day wear.

Any insight would be great 😊

I’m considering the SDJ linked below. It’s $1,550 CAD (roughly 1,120 USD). They’ll do a bag spa to touch up the wear on the handles.

I’ve already asked for a better picture of the date code, but does anyone know what year YSL was doing a fabric lining on these bags? I got one in ~2020 that was leather lined with the removable middle pouch so not sure if this is older or newer…

Anyway - is it a bad idea to purchase a bag which so much wear in the handles, or no because it’ll be touched up?

Fashionphile has offered me a price on my watch that's about 3/4 what I paid for it over ten years ago. (about half what they sold the same watch for recently - a much better offer than I got from two local dealers)

Reasons to sell - I don't really like wearing an automatic watch all day every day with my current lifestyle.
I find the dial hard to read due to the color.

Reasons not to sell - I don't really need the money and wouldn't purchase another comparable watch.
Prices may continue to go up on preowned.
I won't get another Rolex and it's a nice watch.

currently I'm wearing a citizen eco drive watch which isn't comparable in quality but doesn't need service and is easy to read.

I asked my friend to pick up the Dice Bag for me when she was in Europe. I never tried it on in store and can't figure out how to make the strap longer so I can wear it crossbody. I tried googling but didn't see anything... Help! Can you show me how you made your strap longer? Thanks!

ok first world problems here, and not really problems, but this forum will understand I think but I really wanted this denim mini flap and kept annoying my sa about it and when she had it for me I was away and couldn’t go and see it in person. and because of that darker denim streak diagonally on the front flap I didn’t want to buy remote without checking in person. so I passed it on and I’m already regretting it cause it’s a two tone denim anyway and would have most probably looked just fine .. however there’s always a next bag

I haven't seen any articles or conversations that Christian Louboutin has slowly changed some footwear with rubber soles. I came across a YouTube cobbler that gave a name to this rubber sole. I noticed this change maybe two years ago and a Saks Sa told me the customers kept complaining about the soles being destroyed. So far this change looks like it's on some flat shoes and sandals. I can tell the difference in some store stock photos but the description is not accurate by disclosing the sole is this new mirror rubber. I know you will have the customer that wants that hand painted sole and then there's the other customer that prefers the rubber sole. Let's open up a dialog and hear some interesting opinions. Which sole do you prefer rubber or hand painted? I'm posting some in person photos and stock photos.

I saw this vintage Chanel flap bag posted for sale at a local consignment store but I was a bit confused about the size.
It says lambskin jumbo matelasse but the dimensions they list here are: 34cm x 22cm x 10cm.
Is this a jumbo or maxi? or XL?

Also, I’ve attached some photos of the bag. I know it’s vintage and it’s a 3 series (1994-1996 I believe) so the lambskin quilting deflates but does the wear and tear on this bag look standard for vintage or is it in poor condition?

Also if anyone can give any pointers of a good price range for a bag in this condition TIA!

Am I the only one who is surprised at how expensive miu miu has gotten over the years ? All brands are expensive now so makes sense but a bag i like was almost 4000 usd and these shoes that i love are 1200 usd? Or thereabouts …

So my question is - do these look too much like miu miu is copying Chanel ? They are cute but for this much money,
Should I just get a pair of Chanel sling backs ? I think the price is less of an issue, I have more of a problem with them if people think they look like Chanel knock offs…

I accidently got pen ink on a friend's baby blue Chanel flap bag (with the limited edition chain top handle from 2023). Of course we are both devastated and I assume the bag is ruined.

She is a dear friend so I want to make it right. I am not very familiar with Chanel though. First of all, what are my chances for sourcing this bag in new, not pre-owned condition? How would I go about that?

If I cannot procure a new bag, what would your suggest I offer her? Reimbursement for the bag she purchased? Tell her to get whatever she wants and I'll cover it? What would you want (expect) f you were in her shoes?

I need help deciding about what hardware for my Kelly belt in noir . I want to order one but I wanted to find pics of each one or comparison shots of the two belts to figure out which hardware I like better on it . Currently I have one Kelly belt with rghw but I don’t have on in yghw so I’m wondering how it compares

MOP owners- Does grey MOP give off a “glow” like white MOP does? I’ve noticed that even in the sweet size, white MOP gives off a luster or glow, in low light/shadows. Is that the nature of all MOP or is that because of the white/bright color of the WMOP? I like both grey and white but want that glow so just wondering if both will do that.
