What Was Your Last purchase?

Shoes from Portland Leather which I'm returning. I've been an avid online shopper for years, and this year, about 75% of my purchases came without a receipt, packing slip or return info, including Portland Leather. That's really annoying especially when the website doesn't even recognize your order number. Customer service is in a different timezone and they close up early afternoon for me. So don't be surprised when the return is late! On that one, I'm talking to you Brooks Brothers!

I finally had a minute to call Brooks Brothers today about the order number not recognized on their system. Make that 40 minutes! That's how long it took for them to acknowledge my order number isn't in the system and to agree to send me a return shipping label. Of course, it'll take a day or two for the email to reach me. But that's better than the alternative suggested of me going to a store to make the return in person. This time of year? 25 miles each way? Fuggedaboutit.
