What LV item started your collection?

My only items are a wallet and the small bag that comes with the papillon. I Don't really know if either are authentic, (my DH found then at the thrift).

I Love handbags, and through careful shopping/hunting I Have been able to find some gorgeous Brahmin bags. I also have a few Dooney's and Brightons, but I REALLY am looking for an older LV mono. A new bag is out of my price range, so I am hoping to find an older shoulder bag or papillon on ebay or somewhere else. Where else are older bags resold?

My first LV was the damier papillon 26 The Speedy 25 was what actually started my love for LV, but I had asked for it for Christmas, so I bought the papillon first, in November last year

that's exactly my first LV purchase. the damier papillon 26.

Mine's a trouville I bought in the Paris flagship in Oct 2004. But I'm really really sick of it now, although I've only used it a little. EVERYONE has a trouville. I'm re-selling it to get a Vernis Reade PM.
